MULTICULTURAL RESOURCE CENTER CORE SERVICES
The MRC provides diversity training and education for the university staff and students using the Building Bridges to Cultural Competency Program. Training sessions are offered for staff four times annually. Student trainings target student leaders and staff on campus such as Orientation advisors, residential assistants, and new students.
The MRC facilitates programs that fall under four primary programmatic initiatives: (1) student recruitment, (2) student retention, (3) educational development and (4) inclusive community building.
The MRC is a resource center in that we directly provide funds to cultural student organizations on campus seeking to provide programs that are educational, culturally inclusive and encourage diversity within the university community.
