Responsible for establishment of the company’s f irst three European projects, comprising 550 units with a combined investment value of $180m. I nterfaced with U.S. execut ives to integrate Marr iot t standards and procedures into a new market . Saved $4m.

Recruited and led Design, Engineering, I nter ior Design, Const ruct ion Management and Procurement consultants to produce projects on t ime, under budget and according to Marr iot t qualit y standards. Proposed, negot iated and implemented a value engineering review process result ing in further savings of $2m. Managed the MVCI technical staf f and ef fect ively monitored 3 parallel projects 1,000 miles apart .

Tendered and led negot iat ions of mult i-million$ const ruct ion, service and FF&E cont racts. Produced development forecasts and integrated updated sales pace into development schedule, deliver ing phases faster and cheaper, saving an addit ional $2m on the CAPEX.
