A!Measured!Mile!for!calibration!of!trip!meters!will!be!established!on!the!A466!!between!the!roundabout!

outside!Chepstow!race!course!at!162!523½!945½!and!the!village!of!St!Arvans.!It!will!be!set!out!on!both!sides!of!

the!road.!The!starts!and!finishes!will!be!denoted!by!crossed!fluorescent!arrows!with!a!small!notice.!A!measured!

mile!will!also!be!available!close!to!the!Friday!signing!on!venue.!Please!ask!at!signing!on!for!directions.!

Trailer+Parking!Insecure!trailer!parking!is!available!over!night!Friday!at!the!Hampton!by!Hilton!Hotel.!Throughout!Saturday!it!is!

available!in!the!large!car!parking!area!opposite!the!main!entrance!to!Chepstow!Race!Course.!Ecurie!Cymraeg!

accepts!no!responsibility!whatsoever!for!trailers!so!parked.!

Insurance!The!event!is!now!using!Jelf!Insurance!at!£15!per!driver!as!opposed!to!Lockton’s!Insurance!where!the!cost!quoted!was!£25.!

All!competitors!who!have!requested!Lockton’s!cover!will!receive!£10!refund!at!Signing!On.!

Route+Instructions+Once!signed!on!competitors!will!be!issued!with!their!rally!pack,!which!will!contain!route!information!to!enable!

them!to!traverse!the!non!competitive!sections!of!the!route!together!with!the!special!test!diagrams,!certain!give!

way!junctions!and!other!route!information.!

Route+Length+and+Fuel+The!route!will!be!approximately!120!miles!with!fuel!being!available!just!off!the!route!at!several!locations.!

Road+Timing!We!believe!that!the!event!schedule!gives!you!good!time!to!travel!between!competitive!sections!without!the!

need!for!any!bad!driving.!Remember!that!lateness!penalties!only!apply!at!MC!1!(Start!of!The!Event),!MC!2!

(Coffee!Halt!Out),!and!MC!3!(Lunch!Out)!competitors!who!arrive!at!the!refreshment!halts!behind!time!should!

take!a!shorter!in!stop!in!order!to!leave!on!their!scheduled!time!and!not!incur!any!lateness!penalties.!At!MC!4!

(Finish!Of!The!Event)!the!only!lateness!penalty!will!be!OTL.!

Delay+Allowance+In!the!event!of!significant!delays!there!will!be!a!provision!for!competitors!to!claim!a!delay!allowance!at!the!start!

of!each!Special!Test.!If!there!is!a!delay!longer!than!3!minutes!AND!you!are!not!ahead!of!your!guidance!

scheduled!time!then!you!may!claim!a!delay!allowance!by!asking!the!marshal!to!record!your!arrival!time!in!the!

space!provided!on!the!Time!Card.!The!marshal!will!not!record!any!time!earlier!than!when!you!present!the!Time!

Card.!The!difference!in!excess!of!3!minutes!between!your!arrival!time!(but!not!earlier!than!guidance!scheduled!

time)!and!actual!start!time!will!be!used!if!necessary!to!extend!your!30!minutes!OTL!time!at!the!next!Main!
