Barton W. Tingle, 76, died eud-donly ut hU furm near Franklin-ton, at 11:00 Sunday morning.His family was at his home atFranklinton for a reunion anddinner, and he had gone to thefarm for a short time before themeal. •

Funeral services were conduct-ed at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at th«FranklinWn Eaptist Church, ofwhich he was a member. Rev.Max O'Neal officiated. Burial wasin the Franklinton cemetery. Hewas a member of the Odd Fel-lows Lodge.

He is Survived by his wife,Mrs. Lida Tingle; a son anddaughter by a former marriage,Herman Tingle of Franklinton,and Mrs. Carroll Heaton of Pleas-ureville; a son and daughter byhis present wife, Harold BartonTingle, arid Mrs. Ray Bryant,both of Franklinton; a sister, Mrs.Elizabeth Durnold of New Castle,und two half sisters, Mrs. JohnHoagland of New Castle, and MissBonnie Lee Tingle of Louisville.

Survivors , include her hus-band; a daughter, Mrs. VeledaRisen; Pensacola; three grapd-children, and two great-grand'children.

The funeral will bi at 3:30p.m. Tuesday at the Flsher-Pow Funeral Home, Pensacols,with burial in Bayview Memo-rial Park Cemetery there.

Mrs. Bryant was a native ofHenry County, a daughter ofthe late B. W. and LydiaWhite Tingle. She was a mem-ber of Sulphur Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, sheis survived by two daughters,Mrs. James Tharp and Mrs.James Foster, both of Louis-ville; a son, William Ray Bry-ant, Dayton, Ohio; sevengrandchildren; a sister, Mrs.Mary D. Heacon, pleasure-ville, and a brother HaroldBarton Tingle, Franklinton.
