CURRICULUM VITAE FOR BEN KAURIMBO JOE PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES I am Creative, Resourceful and Effective, fast learner, a performance driver, team player, a motivator and loyalty. I have achieved success in my career because I am focused on the bottom line. I sought out innovative solutions in order to maximize profitability and reduce expenses. Regardless of challenge or task, I create a benchmark of performances and hold myself to these excellent standard. I held the position of Logistics and transport manager for the past fifteen years and used my creativity to devise unique incentives in order to keep both logistics staff and drivers motivated. Because of this, my team earned numerous company awards. For example, worker of the year for the Logistics staff and driver of the month. ACHIEVEMENTS After joining Lakewood Enterprises, in October 1999, I noticed there was not much responsibilities I was going to take, because the company’s core business was just of buying raw materials which there were using for designing and printing, of which was part of logistics, as my responsibility. I then suggested and looked outside the box, on how I should add more responsibilities, I then decided to discuss the idea of venturing into transport /haulage business. My former boss had no idea of this business at all, but he then tasked me to work on a project proposal. I invited my colleague from accounts department so that he could help me to work on this project proposal. I had no figures in my hands but I ran this with my instincts and we produced a very good project proposal and at the end, we were proved right. It was then my turn to take all what we had put on paper, on practical. My former boss bought two by thirty ton trucks with sided boards trailers to be used as a trial and meant

I sourced for the loads and fortunately enough I managed to secure cash loads which impressed my former boss and was convinced enough that it was a viable business. And by the time I left the company and kept on adding the size of a fleet and, had a fleet of sixty-five trucks with all engaged to the contracts I had secured from South Africa to Zimbabwe, Zambia, D.R.C, Malawi and Mozambique, and up to now this company is still running the contracts I secured for them,SKILLS Human resources management, that is recruiting , coaching and
