Placement process for 2012 has already started and it is expected that we will repeat
history of 100% placement this year also.
22 students of Current Batch 2008-2012 have already been selected in Avantis, Novartis,
Lupin, GSK (Galxo), Jubilaint, Win Medicare, Akums.
Ranbaxy, Pfizer, Merck, Sun Pharam, Intas, Elder Pharma, Jubilaint, Akums, Albert David
ltd. are Expected to recruit rest of our students this year.

PHARMA MINDZ; 3rd National Pharma Fest- 2012
Pharma Mindz (cultural cum academic program) was organized at I.T.S. Pharmacy College
on 25th Feb. 2012. 150 students from 22 colleges of U.P., Uttrakhand, Delhi and Hariyana
participated in the 3rd National Pharma fest. Various competitive events like Dance, Singing,
Rangoli, Quiz, Poster Presentation, Oral Presentation, Essay writing were held. Students
participated in these events with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Dr. J.P. Pandey, Controller of Examination Mahamaya Tech. University, during prize distribution ceremony.
Dr. Y. Kumar (Director) welcomed the participants of different colleges in the beautifully
decorated I.T.S. auditorium. The chief guest Dr. J.P. Pandey, Controller of Examination of
Mahamaya Technical University, Noida, and guest of honor Mr. Vivek Sood, General
Manager of Aristo Pharmaceutical Mumbai and Dr. Anoop Kalra, CEO of Ayurvet
Pharmaceutical New Delhi inaugurated the function with lightning of the lamp.

Educational Tour of B.Pharm IV Year
An educational tour was organized for the students of B.Pharm final year on 14th January
2012. Students visited Auronext Pharmaceutical Pvt Ltd and Medicamen Biotech Limited at
Bhiwari, Rajasthan. The tour proved to be great learning and fruitful experience for the
students.
AICTE Sponsored Seminar
Brief Report
The AICTE Sponsored National Seminar entitled “Industry Expectations from Pharmacy College” was inaugurated by honorable chief guest Prof S.S Agarwal (Dean, Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences). The program was held on 5th and 6th Aug 2011. Dr. Hari Prakash (Guest of Honor) shared the stage with Dr. N. Udupa (Dean, Manipal College of Pharmacy), Dr. Praveen Khullar (Sr. Director Manager, Sanofi Aventis Group, Goa), Dr. Praful Naik (Executive Director, Bilcare Limited) and Dr. M.S.Y Khan Ex- Dean,Faculty of Pharmacy, Jamia Hamdard). 148 delegates from different colleges of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Delhi attended the program.
The valedictory and prize distribution ceremony was headed by Dr. R.K Khar (Ex- Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Jamia Hamdard). The prizes were distributed by Dr. R.K Khar for poster presentation.
Out come of the seminar
Industrial training should be mandatory part of the curriculum.

Guest Lecture from senior persons from industry should be more frequent. Hands on training should be provided to all the students from 1st year itself. Teachers development programme should be conducted regularly. Teachers may also be provided industrial training for updating them with current
industrial working. The course content should be updated on a regular basis as technology is changing
very fast & by the time the students pass out, the technology becomes obsolete.
