STEP 1: Document everything that happens in
your sales process What took place before you attracted that
first client or lead?Where did they come from?Who initiates the sale?
STEP 2: How do you attract new leads and clients
(LEAD GENERATION) ?
Do you invite them to sign up with an opt-in? Do you have an initial conversation via chat
system on your website? Do you lead them with a toll free number? Do you invite them for a consultation?
STEP 3: Have a consistent sales funnel process
Document what happens after initial contact
Always lead them to the same place on your website that prompts them to take action with the next step
STEP 4: Map out the sales Process
what do you say to them during the entire process?
Document what is said to them when they tell you their potential problems
Have a plan to offer A, B, or C…when they reveal problem X, Y or Z.
How do you process payment? (payment options?)
Do you refer them to someone or another service if you cannot help them? Who is that and where to you send them next?
STEP 5: Organize your Sales Leads!
Where do you put their contact info? Where do you keep the notes taken during the
consultation and what is important to note? Do you use a CRM… a Customer Relations
Management system?
