INTRODUCTION

This document is an integral part of the models of slid-ing, fixed, roll-up, side door, pleated, folding and exten-sible fixed mosquito screen. It is aimed at the user and the professional installer.

This document contains information relating to the safe use, handling, installation, maintenance and disposal of the mosquito screen. It also contains information re-quired to give presumption of conformity with the Eu-ropean Construction Products Directive and European Standard EN 13561:2004+A1:2008 with respect theaccompanying document.

Specific information for the installation of your mos-quito screen model can be found in the corresponding "Assembly Instructions" document available attached to this one at gimenezganga.com

This document together with the assembly instructions constitute a complete instruction manual and an essen-tial tool for proper use throughout the life cycle of your screen: installation, use, maintenance and disposal at the end of its useful life.

We strongly recommend that you download both doc-uments and keep them linked to your mosquito screen for future reference. The information they contain is an essential part of the product.

These models of mosquito screens are the result of a meticulous design process and have been subjected to strict final checks before being placed on the market.

No modifications should be made to its configuration or components without consulting GIMÉNEZ GANGA S.L.U or your authorized representative.

The repair, installation and first usage of our screen systems must be carried out in all cases without ex-ception by qualified professionals, taking into account these regulations as well as the "Assembly Instructions"specific to your mosquito screen model.

The installer is obliged to make a maintenance service available and to inform the purchaser of the mainte-nance operations and frequencies as per the intended use of the products, as well as the environment of use.

01 USEFUL INFORMATION FOR THE USER

Ask your installer and/or manufacturer, to instructed you in the proper use, applica-tion and operation of the screen and its activation.

The repair, installation, and first use of our screen sys-tems should always be carried out, without exception, by qualified professionals, taking into account both the present regulations and the "Assembly Instructions" specific to your model of mosquito screen, available to-gether with this document at gimenezganga.com

When you have the mosquito screen serviced period-ically by a professional, make sure that the servicing includes checking the hardware and those elements subjected to friction during the operation of the mos-quito screen, such as meeting points between fixed and mobile elements, bushings, axle supports etc.

The installer is obliged to:

A. Make a maintenance service available.

B. Inform the purchaser of maintenance operations and frequencies as per the intended use of the product.

C. Inform the buyer of the model of the mosquito screen, its components and its characteristics as per the table of point 4.1.

1.1 SAFETY WARNINGS

Do not use oils or greases to lubricate the sliding chain links.

1.3 PREVENTIVE MEASURES

If safety devices such as locks or latches are fitted, make sure they are unlocked before starting any ma-noeuvre.

1.4 MAINTENANCE

Cleaning with ladders, scaffolds or other equipment to operate at different levels must be carried out by suita-ble personnel, adopting risk prevention measures that are proportional to the inherent danger and the conse-quences of its occurrence.

1.2 TROUBLESHOOTING TABLES

Cleaning of the mosquito screen is essential to stop formation of mold caused by deposits of dust or other material. This can be done by vacuuming the dust or using a sponge or damp cloth using water, leaving the mosquito screen to dry after cleaning.

1.5 INFORMATION FOR DISASSEMBLY AND DISPOSAL OF THE MOSQUITO SCREEN

Information for disassembly and removal of the mosquito net at the end of its life cycle.

Disassembly of the mosquito screen must be carried out by suitable personnel. To do so, proceed to carry out the assembly process in reverse as per the correspond-ing document of "Assembly Instructions" available to-gether with the present one in gimenezganga.com

2.1 PRECAUTIONS BEFORE STARTING THE INSTALLATION

- Check that the condition of the product is suitable, verifying the absence of damage or apparent defects and that it is complete, including all its accessories and small parts.

- Check that the dimensions of the product and the measures of the installation location are compatible.

- Check that the load-bearing capacity of the wall or an-chorage surfaces are sufficient for the requirements of the installed mosquito screen.

The installer is obliged to make a maintenance service available and inform the buyer of the operations and recommended maintenance frequencies depending on the intended use of the product.

The repair, installation and initial commissioning of our screen systems must always be carried out, without ex-ception, by qualified professionals, taking into account these prescriptions, as well as the specific "Assembly Instructions" for the screen model, available together with this document in gimenezganga.com

02 INFORMATION FOR THE PROFESSIONAL AND INSTALLER

The installer must ensure that the user has identified his or her model of mosquito screen as per the table be-low 4.1 of technical details and understands the mean-ing of its essential features. In addition, you must inform the user of the safe and correct use of the mosquito screen, including all relevant warnings.

In any case, the installer must ensure the compliance, functionality and compliance of the installed screen.

The installer is therefore responsible for detecting any anomaly in the final product. This responsibility does not excuse the agent in the supply chain who caused the anomaly and who is therefore ultimately liable for the damage caused.

GIMÉNEZ GANGA S.L.U. supplies its products in pack-aging conditions always aimed at preserving the integ-rity of the product and facilitating its transport, storage and handling without the need for extraordinary pre-cautions on the part of the client.

However, the owner of the product is at all times re-sponsible for taking the necessary measures in trans-port, storage, handling etc. to ensure the integrity of the product.

In any case, the installer must ensure the compliance, functionality and compliance of the installed screen.

6.1 LOAD HANDLING

The handling and transport of loads is a specific prob-lem that can lead to accidents and injuries. Therefore, irrespective of other standards to be observed, the op-erator must follow the following basic preventive rules:

FIG. A: avoid excessive stresses and loads.

FIG. B: when the size of the load requires it, spread the load across several people.FIG. C1 and C2: hold the load with your arms as close to your body as possible.

FIG. C1, C2 and C3: Pay attention to the spine, poor posture during exertion can lead to spinal injuries. To take the load off the floor, bend your hip and knees. Keep your back straight.
