NARRATORPreviously on Moon Chronicles.

SEQUENCE OF SHOTS:

- 10 people sit in a rocket, space suits on.

- Drew shouts down to the crew "Alright we're going home!"

- Drew presses the launch button, nothing happens.

- Drew: "Shit! We need to go fix this. Who is up for alittle repair work back in the base.

- Harry, Dale and Travis are walking away from the rocket.

- Dale looks to his right "How did that get up here?"

- A space pig looks up at Dale and snorts.

CUT TO BLACK.

EXT. MOON BASE COMMUNICATION CENTRE - MOON DAY

Dale, 29, British communications agent, Harry, 25, Scottishcomputer engineer, and Travis, 27, American pilot, movetowards the base of a large satellite array. They are all inspace suits.(They all talk to each other using in-helmetradios)

TRAVISWhy did Europeans have to build

this place. Everything is spelledwrong.

HARRYMore like why did we let Americansjoin us here.

DALEShut up, theatre is spelled r.e.we're not rehashing thatdiscussion.

Travis mumbles to himself as they enter -

INT. MOON BASE COMMUNICATION CENTRE - MOMENTS LATER

Dale leads Harry and Travis through the air-lock. Travis andHarry stop outside the inner air-lock door. Dale takes acautious step in.

DALE Are you coming?

Harry scoffs.

HARRYFuck that, I don't want to getlocked in there.

TRAVIS(to himself)

I can't believe I'm about to saythis.

(to Dale)Listen, you know how much I hate toagree with Orange Hulk here, buthe's right. There's no reason forus all to get stuck, especiallyconsidering you're the only onethat knows where to go from here.

Dale takes a beat to look out a window to the spaceship. Heturns his back to Travis and Harry.

DALEChrist... Fine. But if I get stuckin here and I die, my ghost isgoing to float back to earth andhaunt the shit out of you two.

HARRYFair deal.

INT. COMMUNICATIONS CENTRE CONTROL ROOM - MOMENTS LATER

Dale sits at the control panel. He stares wide eyed at thecontrol panel.

DALE Alright, I've found the problemwith the comms.

INT. MOON BASE COMMUNICATION CENTRE - MOMENTS EARLIER

Travis stands alone, he looks back out onto the moon'ssurface.

Harry fidgets outside the comm centre's outer doors.

TRAVISWould you come in here?

HARRYNo, I'm good not being in the deathtrap thank you very much.

TRAVISThat's the outer air-lock, if anydoor does get locked it'll be thisone.

Travis points at the inner air-lock.

HARRYI'm not taking any chances, by theway if you do get locked in how doI start the rocket.

TRAVIS(sarcastically)

HA. HA.

DALE (O.S.) Alright, I've found the problem

with the comms.HARRY

Fuckin' get out of there before youget locked in.

DALE (O.S.)Well I haven't done it yet.

TRAVISWhy not?

INT. COMMUNICATIONS CENTRE CONTROL ROOM - SAME

Dale is hovering his hand over a red button.

DALEI have to transfer power. Therocket will be able to talk toEarth, but, this centre will betricked into thinking there's asecurity breach.

INT. MOON BASE COMMUNICATION CENTRE

Travis looks back at Harry.

TRAVISWhat?

EXT./INT. MOON BASE COMMUNICATION CENTRE - CONTINUOUS

Harry sighs.

HARRYWe'd be able to talk to home whilein the rocket, but he'll get lockedinside.

TRAVIS

(to himself)So the rocket will be able tolaunch?

(to Dale over proximityradio)

Do it.

DALE (O.S.)What if I can't get out in time?

HARRYI'm willing to risk that.

INT. COMMUNICATIONS CENTRE CONTROL ROOM - MOMENTS LATER

Dale still has his hand over the button.

TRAVIS (O.S.)Hold up. Uh...

(beat)I'm gonna put a rock in thedoorway.

EXT. MOON SURFACE - MOMENTS LATER

Travis grabs a rock.INT./EXT. MOON BASE COMMUNICATION CENTRE - MOMENTS LATER

Travis places the rock in the door way.

Harry stands outside shaking his head.

HARRYThis isn't going to work.

TRAVISWell... No probably not, but we atleast want Dale to have some hope.

INT. COMMUNICATIONS CENTRE CONTROL ROOM - CONTINUOUS

Dale, holding his hand over the button, looks back towardsthe air-lock.

DALEYou guys know I can hear you right?

TRAVIS (O.S.)Oh, uh, no. That's, uh, that'sdefinitely gonna work isn't itHarry?

Dale flips the bird in their general direction, remembers

that they can see him, and brings his attention back to thebutton

HARRY (O.S.)No Dale, it isn't. But here areyour options, either press thebutton and risk being locked uphere or don't, and doom the livesof the six people already on boardthe rocket, plus at least one of usout here.

Dale pulls his hand back for a moment.

DALEFuck it.

INT. AIR-LOCK - SAME

The air lock shuts, turning the moon rock into dust.

INT. MOON BASE COMMUNICATION CENTRE -LATER

DALE stands behind a locked door. Travis and HARRY standoutside looking in.

DALEWell shit. Looks like I've gone anddone myself in.

HARRYDon't worry we'll remember you whenwe escape.

TRAVIS(to Harry)

Christ man, don't be so grim.(to Dale)

We'll get you out. Harry, see ifyou can get into the wall and openthe doors.

(to Harry)If you can't, just meet me at thecontrol center in 15 minutes.

HARRY And how do you suppose I do that?

(MORE)

Just kick the panel off?

HARRY (CONT'D)

Travis kicks the wall panel and it falls open.

Travis looks at Harry.

He looks back at Travis.

Harry grumbles, and starts to work on the wires.

EXT. MOON SURFACE

Travis bounds around the comms centre.

He finds a a slew of cables coming out of the back of thecentre. He tugs on a few of the cords to no accord.

He pulls on them frantically, pulling out one of powercables.

All the lights in the base turn off.

Travis looks around and plugs the cable back in.

The lights go back on.

EXT. MOON BASE CONTROL CENTRE

Harry stands outside the air-lock rubbing his head. Travisruns up next to him.

TRAVISDid you get Dale out?

HARRYYeah it was a breeze.

(sarcastically to emptyspace next to him)

Wasn't it Dale? Aren't you gladthat you're out here and not lockedin that room?

TRAVIS Alright I get it. Just get in thereand fix it.

Harry turns and stares at Travis

TRAVISWell go on.

HARRYI'm not going in there.

TRAVISWhat?

HARRYIf I go in there I'm gonna getstuck.

TRAVISYou don't know that.

HARRYBull shit. We are 1 of 1 right nowin that department.

TRAVISNot if we include the stuff beforewe got onto the rocket. Then we'dbe 1 of 7.

HARRYStill not liking those odds.

TRAVISYou've got to, you're the only onethat knows about this stuff.

HARRYI'm the only one that knows how topress a button that says 'reset'?

TRAVIS

Well... No, but you're the only onewho knows where it is.

HARRYIt's a big red button on the mainconsole.

TRAVISWhat if I told you I wascolor-blind?

HARRYNo.

TRAVISThis is why we have chain ofcommand, and I'm pretty sure I'mabove you.

HARRYI don't care.

TRAVISYou should do it anyway, I'm theonly one that knows how to fly therocket.

HARRY

You're only a co-pilot.

TRAVISFuck. Let's Roshambo for it.

INT. MOON BASE CONTROL CENTRE - MOMENTS LATER

Travis stands behind the main console, his hand hoveringover the reset button.

TRAVISI'm about to hit the button thenI'm going to -

Travis sees a cleaning cart in the corner of the room.

TRAVISHold on I've got an idea.

INT. MOON BASE CONTROL CENTRE - MOMENTS LATER

A long line of mops and brooms are taped together being heldover the reset button by pencil.

Travis holds the makeshift pole and leans out towards theair-lock.

TRAVISOk, I'm going to need a couple morestick-

The makeshift pole falls on the button, Travis sees theair-lock closing, and attempts to dive through falling justshort.

CUT TO BLACK.

NARRATOR(Also text)

Next time on Moon Chronicles.

SERIES OF SHOTS:

-Travis sits against a closed air-lock, he pulls his glovesoff.

-All the lights go out on Dale, who is also sitting againsta closed air-lock, the alarm sounds and a red rotating light

turns on.

-Travis pricks his finger with a pin.

-Dale stands up and we begin to hear a scraping sound.

-Travis puts a bloody hand print on a volleyball.

-A necromorph, straight out of dead space, comes around thecorner.

-Travis makes a smiley face in the bloody hand print.

-Dale is running through the hallway being chased bynecromorphs.

-Travis lifts the volleyball up. "I'll call you Will-is".

-Dale gets ripped in half by a necromorph.
