Moodle: How To Create Course Content

Moodle offers instructors a vast amount of features when it comes to lesson planning. When it comes to creating course content, the options are nearly limitless. From uploading files to linking students to outside sources, Moodle gives instructors the freedom to mold their course in their own unique vision. The articles in this sub-section will go into more detail on each type of resource and activity that can be created and how in Moodle. This article will show users the basics of creating course content and how to get started. Creating a Resource 1. Login to Moodle and select the course. 2. At the Course Outline screen. Turn editing on by clicking on the button marked Turn Editing On .

3. Select a week to put the created content in. Then, select a resource from the drop down list labeled Add a resource...

There are 7 options to choose: Insert a label Add a lightbox gallery Compose a text page Compose a web page Link to a file or web site Display a file folder Add an IMS Content Package Creating an Activity 1.
