Images I Used - Audience

These are images of teenagers dressed in a stereotypically “emo” way and what I imagine my target audience to look like as this is the current generation of rock listeners.

Images I Used - Fashion

These are some of the clothes and brands worn by my target audience. I am considering fashion as an editorial pillar for my magazine which could feature these brands.

Images I Used - Bands

These are bands that relate to my genre and/or scored highly in my questionnaire. From left to right: Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Paramore and My Chemical Romance. I want to feature these artists in my magazine as they are popular with my target audience and will attract readers to the magazine.

Images I Used – Symbols and Patterns

All these images are associated with the styles and genres I want to explore in my magazine. Whilst some are genre specific such as the anarchy symbol for punk and broken heart representing “emo”, the skull is a universal symbol of rock and could feature in my brand identity.

Images I Used - OtherCamden Town is an area of London infamous for its attraction for people interested in rock music and style. Many bands start off their careers with gigs in one of its venues and it has great shopping opportunities for any member of my target audience.

Rock doesn’t just extend to the music. The television show “The Mighty Boosh” and film “The Nightmare before Christmas” are popular with my target audience for their collaboration of music, art and film.
