    Pulpit ExchangeSunday, February 21, 2010

In celebration of the spirit of the United Methodist Connection Rev. Joel Robbins, the dy-namic pastor of Mooreville UMC and I will exchange pulpits. Mooreville built its first wor-ship facility in 1874 and its current facility in 1912. Prior to Rev. Robbins was resting inmemory of its glorious past with little focus on the future. But, now through God is doing

    great things in their midst.

Our Church membership has exploded and we are seeing more and morenew faces. We have started a new Contemporary service to accommodate ourgrowth. It starts at 8:30 AM on Sunday.

Rev. Robbins comes from a preaching lineage. His father, Rev. Thomas Q. Robbins, is a

retired UMC pastor. However, he is currently serving a local church. Joel is the youngestof three sons and each of his brothers are United Methodist pastors. His wife Christi isalso a minister and is the pastor of Lorna UMC. I am thrilled that he will be coming toshare with Wellspring and I hope you will invite others to come and hear this dynamicpreacher.
