REC@&$VpRSr@NEver since the War has come

to a conclusion, and for some timeprior to it, our nation has beenconscious or the fact that we mustconvert the country as a wholemom a wartime standard of livingto a peac'etime standard. of living. In so doing, every ind.ustry, everyorgantzation, every famity, andeven every individual is being af-fected by this great change-over

and our organization will be no exception as you haveseen and will see in the future.

The rnost important change tkrat we can see inour social lives is the homecorning of the boys, who(in most cases) have been gone for two, three, orfour years. T.ttose of us who were left, have triedour utmost to keep the organization running in assrnooth a fashion as was possible. Now, wtth thehelp of the veterans we should be able to make ourclub more socialiy interesting than it has ever been.

Since Theodore Kerec zmanl and" myself havebeen elected to the offices of entertainment comrnit-tee as chairman and secretdty, respectively, I havebeen approached several times on the subject of con-ducting affairs every Saturday night. trt seerns thate\reryone has a dilfenent idea as to how this iobshould be tackled, and now the solution of thisproblem has been worked out.

Those of you who have asked for this, havebeen rnost patient with the officials of the club, andif you will bear with us a little longer your patiencewill be rewarded.. In conclusion I would like to saythat if we receive the cooperation of the members, the proposed Saturday night affairs will be success-ful'

The Neighborhood Bowiing Leaguew-hich rolls on the CIub Alleys everyTuesday night, was starl"ed, bY Mr.Walter Shock in L925 over at St. Boni-face HalI, and was known as the St.Bo'niface, Bowling League. Down thruthese 20 years several changes weremade ttrru sickness, unemploYment, death, old age and lastly the war'' butthe spi.r'it of spo'rtmanship never chang-ed. When tlre war started and the St.Boniface, Club closed. the League cameover to thi,s Club and now are in theirftn' season.

It is the desire of the rn embers' of thisLeague to arrange for a play-off betweenthe winner of the German HungarianLeague and the winner of the Neighbor-hood League for the tsowling Champion-ship of the Club.

The Neign*borfrood League is verypleased with the new arrangement madein regards to the Club paper' and ur,ges

..SIX PRINCIPLES OF APOOR CI-UB MEMBER''Don't attend tJre meetings.

If you do, corne late and flnd faultwith the officers and members.

Never accept an office, it is easierto critictze tlran do things.

Nevertheless, get sore if you are notappointed on & committee, but if youare, do not attend the c,olnrrritteemeetings.

If asked by the President to give yo{rropinion on some important matter, tell him you have nothing to s&V, andthen after the meeting (usually atthe Bar) tell everS)ong how thing, sshould have been done.

Do nothing more tJran is necess,&ty,but-when other members roll up theirsleeves and willingly and unselfishlyuse their time and abili"ty to help mat-ters along,'howl .your head off thatthe.club is run by a clique.
