Montana Tech SAE Baja Buggy

We are a group of Montana Tech engineering students working on our Senior Design Project.

This project will span both Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 semesters. For our project we will be

designing and fabricating a Baja buggy for the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)

Competition. The competition will take place May 2013 at Bellingham, Washington. Please visit

We are currently looking for sponsorships to help defray the costs for building the buggy and the

entrance fee for competing in the competition. The total cost for the project is estimated to be

$5,275. Our preliminary design is shown below.

The buggy will be on display in the Student Union Building and at the Montana Tech TechXpo

on May 2nd

, 2013.
