Jade  came to us after her previous guardian passed

away. She is a bit of a diva and would prefer not to have

to share the spotlight with anyone else. She has always

been an indoor cat and at 9 years old should not be

allowed outside. She can have her loving moments, and

her playful moments, but overall Jade is a fairly inde-

pendent cat. All she really needs to be happy is a comfortable bed tocurl up on and peace and quiet. If you think your home is just the place

for Jade to retire to please come by and pay her a visit!

Loretta came to SCAC because her previous guard-

ian could no longer care for her. She is a very ener-

getic, playful cat that gets along with people, dogs,

and some cats. Loretta is looking for a forever home

with someone who likes to play and won’t mind her

running around and speaking her mind. She has been

indoors her whole life and would like to be an indoor only cat. If Loretta

sounds like the girl for you please stop by and pay her a visit.

New Year came to us after been found running around

someone’s yard. We know he’s been someone’s pet

before though, because he is a wonderfully friendly

soul. He just loves getting pet, doesn’t mind being

picked up, and is incredibly gentile. He really could

use a new start, so if you think you’ve got space in

your home for an adorable, cuddly furry companion

like him come on down and visit him!

METTAWEE RIVER THEATRE COMPANY ANNOUNCES TOUR DATES FOR ‘OUT

OF THE PAST: CELEBRATING 40 YEARS OF THE METTAWEE JOURNEY’ Perfor-

mances will take place at outdoor venues in upstate New York and nearby Vermont and Massa-

chusetts, and are scheduled from through July 21  (schedule attached). The production will

include scenes and songs from four decades of Mettawee productions. There will be appearances

by Aristophanes’ gluttonous dung beetle, as well as Brecht’s forlorn lovers in THE CAUCASIAN

CHALK CIRCLE . The world will be created on the back of a turtle; the great Irish sea god

Mannanon will declaim the tragic tale of Phaedra; and Grandmother Earth will send Nanabozho off

to get the world ready for humans, Archy the cockroach and his lowly associates wil l share memo-

rable moments from their illustrious careers, and two long lost brothers will be reunited in

VALENTYNE AND ORSON . All these encounters will incorporate an abundance of Mettawee’s

signature masks, puppets and giant figures.

According to Mettawee Artistic Director Ralph Lee, “These headstrong characters have been

clamoring to be let out of their boxes for another fling in front of their fans, so I finally decided to let

them have their way. Here goes! I take no responsibility for their behavior.” For more information

about the Mettawee River Theatre Company, including a full schedule of this summer’s outdoor

tour, visit the company’s web site at www.mettawee.org.

Komen, “This partnership, all the volunteerswho have hosted events, and the millions of people who have been Rally partici-pants, have been instrumental in our mission to end breast cancer forever.”Cronin’s Golf Resort has 128 participants annually registered for the Rally eventand this is their 20th Anniversary Rally as well. The day’s activities will consist ofght breakfast, 18 hole golf tournament, dinner, silent auction, and much more.

Prizes will be awarded to the 1st – 5th place teams, of the event and each partici-pant will receive a goody bag with important breast health information, a special20th Anniversary Rally pin and a subscription to a select Condé Nast magazineuch as SELF , Golf Digest  and Bon Appétit .We are very honored to have Cronin’s Golf Resort celebrate our 20 th Anniver-ary year,” says Diane Perillo, Program Manager, Rally for the Cure. “Theuccess of Rally is attributed to thousands of Ambassadors who have volunteeredo support this cause by hosting a Rally at their clubs. Their enthusiasm, energy

and support are paramount in helping Susan G. Komen fund breast canceresearch and community outreach programs.”We are thrilled to host a Rally event to honor this special milestone. The event is

a fun way for us to bring together our members and the community to support anmportant cause while playing a sport they are passionate about,” says Jamesand John Cronin.

The cost for the evening isonly $15 per person and is a fund raiser for the Museum. If you’d like to come in old-fashioned,garden party attire, please feel welcome to do so. It will add to the fun of the evening. See youthere!
