Campbell Clinic Physical Forms
The Physical forms needed for Campbell Clinic are now available on our
website (http://www.sbaeagles.org/formspolicies). All pages must be
filled out and signed prior to arriving at the clinic on Saturday, May 14th,
at 7:45am. In order for Campbell Clinic to perform the physical, a $20
payment is required at the time of service (Please make checks payable
to SBA). This is a great opportunity for any student interested in playing
a sport next year. All athletes must have a physical on file dated after May
1st of this year.
If you prefer to go to your family physician for a physical, those forms
will be available online beginning on Monday, May 16th.
Mother-Daughter Tea News Thanks again to everyone that helped with the planning, preparing,
volunteering and for all of you that blessed us with your generous
contributions for the 2011 Mother Daughter Tea. Despite the Tornado
evacuation, it was a great success and one event that will always be
remembered!
For those of you that took pictures, you will be able to go online to view

Tea thumbnail. You must allow pop-ups.

Prom Pictures
The yearbook staff is looking for a few good prom pictures. If you have
one, please e-mail it to Mrs. Ford at [email protected]
Pitner Driving School
Pitner Driving School has announced their fall and spring class dates at
SBA for next year. The fall classes will be September 12th-23rd and the
spring classes will be February 27th – March 9th.
Pitner also offers summer classes at various locations around Memphis.
You can call then at 901-767-4704 for more information on summer
classes.
Parker Uniform Sale Days
Parker Uniforms will be offering two sales days for SBA families. On
Saturday, June 18th and Saturday June 25th, all SBA families will receive
a 15% off discount at Parker Uniform. So please mark those days on your
calendar, if you wish to take advantage of this special offer to only SBA
families.
Class of 2012 Parents
All members of the Class of 2012 met with the representatives from
Holland Studio about senior portraits. All were given a brochure to bring
home – please take a look at the brochure and book your appointment.

Summer Enrichment Information for Incoming 9th
Graders
St. Benedict will offer SUMMER ENRICHMENT in English and
math for incoming 9th grade students. These classes help assist
students in areas that challenge them and are recommended for
those who need to build a stronger foundation in these two
academic areas.
The classes will meet Monday through Thursday, July 5-21 (no
class on Fridays).
Class times: Session One: 8:30-10:15 and Session Two: 10:30-
12:15 (there will be a 15 minute break between sessions).
Both classes will meet during each session, so choose the time that
best fits your schedule.
The Summer Enrichment registration form is available on our
website at www.sbaeagles.org/newstudents.

SBA GIRLS SOCCER – Fall 2011
Important info for incoming freshmen and returning students
interested in trying out for the SBA Girls’ Soccer Team for 2011.
Tryouts are scheduled for June 6-8 from 6-8:00pm on the SBA
Soccer Field.
The team will be participating in a summer camp at MTSU,
July 18-21. This camp is part of our preseason; if you make
the team you will be required to attend the camp.
In order to try out, you must have a physical on file with the
school. The physical forms (5 pages) are on the SBA website
under Athletics. Please print and fill out ALL forms (there is a
section for the doctor to fill in) and turn in to the school office
or provide to the coach on the first day of tryouts. They must
be dated AFTER May 1st, 2011.
There is a special day assigned for SBA athletes at the
Campbell Clinic for your convenience. The date this year is
May 14th, at 7:45am. The cost is approximately $20.
If you are interested in trying out for the team and haven’t
previously contacted the coach, please contact her to ensure you
get the latest info.

Orpheum High School Musical
Theatre Awards The Orpheum High School Musical Theatre Awards recognizes achievement
in all areas of high school musical theatre. St. Benedict’s production of “The Sound
of Music” has been nominated for SIX different awards!!
Outstanding Small Ensemble
Outstanding Student Orchestra
Outstanding Music Direction
Outstanding Costume Design (Tier II)
Technical Achievement Award
The People’s Choice Award
“The Sound of Music” is in the running for the People’s Choice Award for the
Orpheum High School Musical Theatre Awards. But, it takes “The People” to vote
and you want to be sure to vote for our outstanding production.
