Members are reminded that, as a courtesy to our co-tenants, Monbulk-Clematis ARC and WRECAR, we do not use the grounds on their rally days, the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.

Duty Roster. Canteen Roster:

Please arrange a swap with another family if you are unable to attend on your rostered day. Please contact Sally Brownridge, 59686217, sallyclair@gmail.com & let her know if you do arrange a swap. Please note that canteen duty begins at 10.00am and runs till 3.00pm. Canteen divided into 2 shifts. These

shifts are flexible between whom is rostered. Pm shift includes serving at lunch time.

The committee is trying to organise rally day details to make the day run better and easier for everyone. As the set up is rarely only done by the families on duty we are no longer nominating people for this duty. It was decided at the last committee meeting that all families will help with set/pack up. There is still a number of duties that still have to be done on the day and they are as following: CMOD Karen Malerba CANTEEN DeWitt, Johnstone, Henerson BBQ Weller Floors Williams Toilet and bins Wiltshire Arena’s Grant If you are unable to do your duty please email me at sallyclair@gmail.com. Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the October Rally.

THIS RALLY I would like to welcome James Harvey our resident Horse Dentist. I will have times for you if

you have booked to have your horses teeth done. If you have not booked and would like to be

slotted in please come and see me. $60.00 per horse payable on the day.

Welcome to our new member Jessica Procter. You would have recognised Jessica with Karen

Malerba. We hope you have a wonderful time with Monbulk on the back of your new horse.

Start Time DONT FORGET TO PUT YOUR CLOCKS FORWARD SATURDAY NIGHT. DAYLIGHT SAVINGS STARTS THIS WEEKEND Start time is 10.00am. Please be ready to ride by 9.45am for gear check.

We will need all hands on deck to build our Showjumping course. This rally

Jacqui will be instructing our jumping!

Dressage Focus I would also like to welcome back Danielle Poole. A great chance to talk to Danielle about those competition nerves. She is also great at ring craft. Dont forget or competition is coming up so this lesson will ber great in preparation. For our riders that have never ridden a dressage test we will be able to teach you what all

those letters around the arena are for.

Out N About The September Month

Congratulations to all our riders who have been out competing this month!! It is great to see and hear about people getting out there and representing mighty Monbulk. Please

contact me if you have competed throughout September. Any photos of people out competing, please send them to me so we can share them on the newsletter with the

club.

Eventing Congratulations to all our families who battled the elements at Werribee Horse Trials last weekend. All our riders had a fantastic time. Everyone completed a beatiful test in their grades so we can be very proud of all our riders. Again our small club in comparison to some had a very successful comp. Congratulations to Monique and Reggie in their very first competition after a windy Sunday finish 2nd in her grade 2 class. Congratulations to Charlotte and Charlie finishing 3rd in her grade 5 class. Cat and Indie finished in 9th place in trying conditions. After indie woke up he was doing cross country hammered the back half of the cc. Phoebe and Perri had a very good competition in their first grade 3. Another clear CC. Fantastic work concidering battling the flu. Grace unfortunately had to pull out of the cc but had performed lovely onthe Saturday. Britt and Sam had another solid performance in Grade 2 and is working hard to get her showjumper into a very good eventer, Well done. Liana had done a lovely test but had to scratch due to buster not feeling the best. And our youngest this comp was Femka. For her second competition Femka was a star. Well done. Thanks for a great weekend kids and we will see you all next year.

Don't forget November 16th is our Combined Training and Dressage Competition. All help is required on the day. But more importantly it is a great opportunity to compete at our home grounds. More information will be available this rally. Entry is up so please enter NOW. See you all Sunday

Hello Monbulk Pony Clubbers, Carola Fiedler here, Fundraising Committee! I am wanting a show of interest in producing our very own Year Book. Its something i have been considering for some time and would love to organize one. But i need Everyone's Help! I will come around and speak to each and every member as best i can, to talk to you about you, your horse and why you like being involved in Pony Club. The Yearbook is all about each and everyone of you, irrespective of competition results, but a look back over the year to celebrate everything good about belonging to Monbulk Pony Club. I will have a couple of examples with me on rally day, please come and ask for a look. It means a lot of work by myself, and is something that i will work on over the next few months, ready for release at the Christmas Rally.
