1. Introduction
This demonstration contains information on the Mobile Container Diving Complex
(hereinafter referred as MCDC).
The MCDC was designed and manufactured in December 2010 by our own diving
specialists for diving operations from the shore and MSVs.
2. MCDC Technical Specifications
The Mobile Container Diving Complex (MCDC) is a universal set of equipment based in
the 20” container for subsea services up to 60m depth with HP air storage, compressor, HP air
piping, air control system for 2 divers, power supply and conditioning systems.

3. General Description and Performance
3.1. The MCDC consists of the following main elements (see Appendix 1):
20” container;
HP air compressor;
metal composite HP air cylinders;
HP air storage system, rust-free, assembled, WP=400 bar;
diving supervisor control panel, namely:
air control system KMACS-5;
diver intercom Aquacom MK2-DCI (2 divers);
video control system VTK-U (ВТК-У);
Sony RDR-AT100 recorder;

Broco welding torch control panel;
communication station and ancillary equipment PSU ( ~220V/12V);
remote speaker sound amplifier;

air conditioner TOSHIBA RAS-10 SKHP-E;
diving suits and equipment storage;
work bench with necessary tooling.
For the sake of convenience, a special working platform is installed onto the container roof
at the side of the diving ground with:
- fixed station aerial;
- diver down/ alpha flag;
- spotlights;
- intercom remote speaker.
3.2 A shore or vessel supply unit (~380V/ 50 Hz) is used for power supply of the MCDC
via cabling with an outer pressure seal connector, all system grounded. 220 V / 50 Hz power
supply is provided with the help of an internal electric board with a built-in 3-phase VTR НТС –
6.0У2 / 380 / 220 (6.0 kVA).
For emergency power supply a free-running petrol engine GEKO 110 / 3.7 kVA S10000E –
EISEMANN is used, its internal DC source up to 200A can be used for welding.
3.3 EXO-26BR full-face masks and Viking/Amron dry suits are used as major diving
equipment. Air supply is provided from metal composite HP air cylinders via the HP control
system using KMACS-5 supply panel for air pressure adjustment before supplying it to a diver
through the umbilical. For emergency air supply an aluminum cylinder (6 l, WP= 200 bar) is
used.
Air storage cylinders are filled with the HP air compressor Coltri Sub MCH-16ET Standard
with electrical drive and WP of 230 bar. The compressor is controlled by an automated ELETEC
SCU and has an emergency stop system.
HP storage cylinders and the control panel allow simultaneous work of 2 divers at depths
up to 60m.
3.4 MCDC has mobile structure and is easily mobilized and installed onto different objects
such as special host-vessels, barges, floating cranes and other onshore objects.
The following conditions are necessary for MCDC installation:

The MCDC equipment is manufactured to fit into the 20” container that gives an advantage to provide transportation not only by railway and sea transport but by motor transport.
