Student Responsibilities

• Once issued, the student is responsible for computer until returned to the cart.

• Never leave the computer unattended.

• Close the lid when not using the computer.

• Stay on task.• Save every 5 minutes. • Shut down computers properly, before closing

laptop screen.• Report problems.

Starting

• Follow laptop distribution given by your teacher.

• Open display – press display latch and open cover

• Avoid touching screen• Press the power switch

to start the system.

Using the Cursor

• Touch pad or track stick is used to move cursor.

• A set of left and right touch pad/track stick buttons are located below space bar and touch pad.

Closing

• File and close all programs.• Shut down utilizing the lower left START

button on the task bar and then click SHUTDOWN.

• Remove all pencils, pens, etc. from surface of laptop keyboard area.

• Follow laptop collection given by your teacher.
