Nomination of Officers for MAOS
The nomination committee is hard at work in the selection of new officers for
MAOS 2016. There are several slots still open. If you get asked to serve please
give it due consideration. Remember we need fresh ideas so we can move for-
ward as a group. Remember we need you!
Judith Update
Beverly visited Judith on Saturday and stated Judith appears to be doing very
well and hopes to be paroled Wednesday 13 April. Don’t know if she will make it
to the meeting on Thursday or not.
Good Luck Judith and Way to Go!

Gulf Coast Orchid Society Information
On March 18 I sent an email to everyone with an invitation from the Gulf Coast Orchid Society to partici-
pate in a preorder of angraecums and to hear the guest speaker.
Here is the information from Jo Ann:
As you probably already know the Gulf Coast Orchid Society will have a special guest speaker at our April 17 meeting. Mr. Tom Kuligowski from the Ft. Lauderdale area in Florida will speak on Angraecums. He will bring plants to sell .
Our meeting starts at 2:00 with him selling plants before the meeting. I would like to invite the Mobile and Hatties-burg societies to our meeting and to share in our preorder. Just call or email your order; make sure you tell them the order is to be packaged with the Gulf Coast Orchid Society’s order. His contact information is on the attachment.
If you don’t care for Angraecums, I’ve been told he is bringing other plants with him to sell at the meetings.
Miscellaneous
This will be the first meeting since the Providence Hospital Festival of Flowers and we are inviting everyone
that signed up at the festival to our April meeting. Hopefully we will have some guests at this meeting. If
you see someone you don’t know please make it a point to introduce yourself and make them feel welcome.
Remember Show and Tell will go a long way with a guest since they are already interested in orchids.
