Message from Director Research (Health Sciences), Manipal University

Manipal University is one of the leading Universities in India, imparting quality education and is actively involved in research activities. Manipal University has always given equal importance to both education and research.

Directorate of Research, Manipal University has taken the responsibility to enhance research performance of the University through various measures and one of the measures is publication of quality journals in the fields of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Engineering and Technology, Management and Humanities. Manipal Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MJPS), biannual publication is one of the six such journals with first issue released in September 2015. The first issue featured two Invited Editorials from eminent scholars from India and abroad, and six original research articles.

The second issue has one Invited Editorial, one Review article, three original research articles and one perspective article. The second issue of the journal offers the readers a wide array of concepts in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. The young and energetic Editorial Board has ensured that the journal meets the required criteria to ensure high quality while accepting the manuscripts for publication. The journal also ensures that the manuscripts submitted for the publication undergo through plagiarism check.

The journal has also received ISSN for online presence. At present the abstracts of the articles from the first issue are available on our online platform https://ejournal.manipal.edu/mjps. We have developed an online platform for manuscript submission which would facilitate authors to submit their manuscripts online and track the progress of their manuscript. The online platform can be accessed at https://ejournal.manipal.edu/jcms.

We look forward to authors and encourage them to contribute good quality research work for publishing in MJPS.

We thank management of Manipal University for their support and encouragement. We hope to see good number of researchers and scientists contributing as subscribers and contributors to MJPS.
