1. a list of the courses offered2. a refine search button (courses availability / course types / subjects)3. a flag on the bottom corner of the cover of the course video indicating if the course is verified

After you choose a course you click on the middle of the cover course video (Learn More) for you to have:
1. a basic explanation of the course (About The Course)2. ways to take this course (verified / honor code)3. a basic presentation of the course staff4. prerequisites 5. an intro video of the course chosen6. [on the left side of the platform] some details about the course (course code / classes start / course length / estimated effort)7. Prerequisites (one more time)8. information if the course is part of an Xseries9. student reviews

WEAK POINTS:
It is effective but it could be even more.

MODS:The platform should have traditional tests with comprehension questionnaires about the videos and the readings of the course. There are only peer feedbacks and the score achieved is based on the questions the course makes the students, asking students if they have completed the assignment #00. The students might answer yes and haven’t done it correctly.Another mod it would be about the post in the discussion area. MITX should not allow posts that have nothing to do with the discussion topic. There should be a specific area for those posts asking for help. Posts asking for help should be eliminated from the discussion related to the topics of the assignments.

EXPLANATION:
By doing the mods proposed, the platform would make students take the course for more seriously and have a more consistent feedback. Having the feedback from the peers is great but from the course itself would be greater. Sometimes students take the course with the intention to improve her/his résumé and without a “real” feedback, I mean, a feedback in the format of a score, is not that valid.
