Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd., the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Tokyo Kaikan Co., Ltd. held

■Outline of the building and ownership

・The low-rise part will be under sectional ownership of Mitsubishi Estate, the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and

Industry, and the Tokyo Kaikan. It will comprise of shops along Marunouchi nakadori Avenue by Mitsubishi

Estate, rental conference rooms, rental offices and the secretariat office of the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and

Industry, as well as a banquet hall for the Tokyo Kaikan.

・The high-rise part will be a rental office that overlooks Imperial Palace Gardens in front and will be jointly

owned by Mitsubishi Estate and the Tokyo Kaikan.

■The Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry

・The Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry segment will be made up of rental conference rooms, the

tenant area and the secretariat office area of the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The entrance along

Hibiya Dori and Babasaki Dori a multi-purpose space for exhibitions, as well as the reception of the Tokyo

Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

・The rental conference room area on the 5th floor will be equipped with a large conference room with approx.

500 seats, alongside small and mid-sized conference rooms to flexibly respond to the demands for various types

of events.

・The tenant area on the 2nd to 4th floors (about 1,100 m2 for each floor) will consist of comfortable and stylish

offices providing a view of the beautiful, changing scenery of the Imperial Palace Gardens below.

■Tokyo Kaikan

・The Tokyo Kaikan segment will be equipped with a large banquet hall, which will be the largest space in the

peripheral area, capable of holding a party with 2,000 participants. It will also feature various facilities that are

valuable for the global MICE tourism.

・Stretching 100m along Hibiya Street and overlooking Imperial Nijubashi Bridge, the elegant Tokyo Kaikan

with is the perfect venue for wedding receptions and celebrating special occasions.

・Large buses are able to park at the porte-chochere in front of the entrance to the building along Marunouchi 4th

Street. In addition, there will be changes in traffic arrangements on Marunouchi 4th Street to secure greater

convenience for users.

■Superior Access and Stunning Views

・The project’s convenient location on Marunouchi Nakadori Avenue will also provide rare office space that

overlooks Hibiya Park, as well as the Imperial Palace Gardens.

・The project area is located at the intersection of Ginza, Hibiya, and Yurakucho, within walking distance of

Tokyo Station. This location is highly desirable for companies of various business types. The office space has an

effective area of about 2,900 m2 on standard floors which can flexibly respond to diverse work styles.

・The underground network that will be developed connects to Hibiya Station on the Toei Mita Line, the Tokyo

Metro Hibiya Line, and the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line, and the Yurakucho Station on the Tokyo Metro

Yurakucho Line. It is also connected to the Marunouchi area-wide underground walkway network.

■Safety, Security and Business Continuity

・The building will be equipped with above ground level emergency power generators with a medium-pressure

gas cogeneration system and a dual-fuel system to allow the sustainability of business operations in a disaster

situation. In addition, the building’s earthquake resistance is 1.5 times as stronger than that required by the

Building Standards Act.

・The underground space beneath Marunouchi Nakadori Avenue will be installed with a strong anti-earthquake

cable tunnel. An energy system for providing heat, emergency power, water for general use, as well as

information will be built, utilizing a regional air-conditioning plant newly built by Marunouchi Heat Supply Co.,

Ltd. within the building.

・An area of about 3,500m2, including a large banquet hall and conference room space can be used as makeshift

accommodations for stranded commuters. There will also be three days’ worth of supplies in storage and the

ability to supply power through the cable tunnel to the neighboring five buildings.

■Increasing Tokyo’s International Competitiveness

・The building will be equipped with a large-scale conference space and a banquet hall, which can be used for

business and social gatherings. The Marunouchi area’s ability to host international conferences and other events

will be significantly enhanced in collaboration with the Tokyo International Forum and other related facilities in

the neighborhood.

・The project is also surrounded by various amenities to support MICE tourism.

■Spreading the news from Marunouchi with the Foreign Correspondents’Club of Japan

・The Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan, which has hosted many press conferences from internationally

prominent figures in every field and is one of the world’s oldest and most authoritative press clubs, decided to be

part of the project with the aim of further strengthening its functions.

・This will be a tremendous asset to the Marunouchi area, allowing a fluid exchange of information about

Marunouchi to be shared with Japan and the rest of the world.

■The Project’s Impact on Neighboring Areas

・The Marunouchi 3-chome area that is home to the building is just next to the Yurakucho area and the launch of

the project will further increase the vitality of both areas.

・The creation of new amenities and services has increased demand and raised the value of the neighboring area.

The project brings together a variety of facilities and opportunities, and this same stream of growth is expected to

ripple throughout the Yurakucho area as well.

・Through the promoted utilization of the Marunouchi Nakadori Avenue, based on the collaboration between the

public and private sectors in line with the National Strategic Special Zones system as part of that measure, the

project will take progressive action in creating spaces where workers and visitors can relax in an urban

environment.
