QUALITY and STRUCTURE OF CLASSES:
ASAFE ENVIRONMENT
Classes are delivered by accomplished music tutors that arededicated to sharing their knowledge of music with others.Using the London College of Music's Irish Traditional MusicSyllabus to structure our traditional music classes, and theRock School Syllabus for other contemporary instrumentclasses, our tutors structure classes according to the ability andinterests of the individual pupils.
Classes are structured in 'Terms', each of which last for nineweeks, and all levels are covered. Charging only £40 per termfor tuition, we ensure that cost is not a barrier to participation.
All of our tutors participate in child protection training and arevetted through Access NI, to ensure their suitability for workingwith children and young adults. All go through an inductionprocess prior to starting with ATCMS and follow a strict code ofconduct which provides excellent guidelines for working withyoung people.
ATCMS is committed to providing a safe and enjoyableenvironment for young people under the age of 18 and for adultpupils who attend our classes. Inherent in this is thecommitment to ensure that young people and children whoattend our classes are not at risk in any way. The followingpolicies help to ensure that this is the case.
