ECOLOGIC DRIVEThe noise and the pollution of every vehicle dependson how it is driven.
We strongly recommend you to drive steadily, with-out strong acceleration and deceleration.
During off road use do not damage the environment,avoid noise and everything that can disturb personsand animals.
Use a sport drive only on race circuits
SAFE DRIVE• this vehicle must only be run on racetracks and awayfrom normal roads. Parents are responsible for the safety ofchildren, therefore they must pay the utmost attention tothem;• always wear your safety helmet, correctly fastened;• drive with your hands and feet in the correct drive
position;• do not tow and avoid being towed by others vehicles;• use both brakes, take care when the road is wet, dirty,
slippery;• do not start the engine in enclosed spaces.

2CONTROLLI E MANUTENZIONE PRIMA E DOPO L'UTILIZZOOnde evitare spiacevoli inconvenienti durante il funzio-namento del veicolo è consigliabile effettuare, siaprima che dopo l'utilizzo, alcune operazioni di controlloe manutenzione . Infatti pochi minuti dedicati a questeoperazioni, oltre a rendere la guida più sicura, posso-no farvi risparmiare tempo e denaro.Quindi procedere come segue:
• Verificare la pressione, lo stato generale e lospessore del battistrada.
• Nei giorni freddi è consigliabile prima della partenza,fare scaldare il motore facendolo funzionare al mini-mo per alcuni istanti.
• Ogni volta che il veicolo viene utilizzato in fuoristradaoccorre lavarlo accuratamente.
CHECKS AND MAINTENANCE BEFORE AND AFTER USEIn order to avoid problems connected to the operationof the vehicle, it is advisable to perform a number ofchecks and maintenance operations before and afteruse. Just a few minutes given to these procedures willsave you time and money, and will make riding muchsafer.Proceed as follows:
• Check pressure, general condition and thickness oftread.
• On cold days, warm up the engine by running it atminimum for a few minutes before starting off.
• Wash the vehicle carefully after every off-road use.

Il rodaggio ha una durata di circa 500 km (N. 10 pienicarburante) durante questo periodo si consiglia di:
- Evitare di viaggiare a velocità costante
- Variando la velocità i vari componenti si assesteran-no uniformemente ed in minor tempo
- Evitare di ruotare la manopola del gas per più di 3/4.
Attenzione:
• Dopo 500 km di percorrenza sostituire l'olio trasmissio-ne nel carter.
• Utilizzare sempre benzina super senza piombo e oliodi buona qualità.
• Dopo la prima uscita fuoristrada provvedere a risen-tire tutta la bulloneria.
BREAKING IN
Run in the vehicle over about 500 km (No. 10 refuelings).During this period, we recommend to:
- Avoid travel at high speeds
- Change speed often so that the parts will break inuniformly and in a shorter time
- Avoid turning the throttle more than 3/4 of the way.
Warning:
• Change the crankcase oil after 500 km.
• Always use high-octane unleaded petrol anda qualitatively good oil.
• After the first off-road use, check all of the nuts andbolts.

Kick-starter
- Open fuel tank valve AOFF = closedON = openRES = reserve
- Action the starting leverwith the foot, as shown inthe figure, and slightly turnthe throttle twistgrip.
- Always close the fuel tankvalve when the engine isoff.
Note:With the engine cold, act onthe starter by pushing downlever B, wait for a short whileand then turn the throttletwistgrip to automaticallyreposition the lever to itsformer position.

- Close drain plug B- Put in 150 c.c. of oil- Close the filler cap.

Per accedere al filtro ènecessario smontare:- la sella svitando le viti A
poste sopra la sella stessae sfilandola verso l'alto,quindi procedere nel modoseguente:
- Togliere il filtro- Lavarlo con acqua ed appo-
sito detergente, solo in casodi filtro molto sporco lavarlocon benzina
- Asciugarlo- bagnarlo con olio per filtri,
eliminandone poil'eccedenza in modo chenon goccioli
- Se necessario pulire anchel'interno della scatola filtro
- Procedere al rimontaggio,eseguendo le operazioni insenso inverso.
AIR FILTER
To gain access to the filter,remove the saddle bypulling it upwards afterunscrewing screws A on topof it. Then use the followingprocedure:- Remove filter- Wash the filter with water
and special detergent. Ifthe filter is very dirty wash itwith petrol
- Dry the filter- Wet the filter with filter oil,
removing any excess oil sothat there is no dripping
- If necessary, also clean theinterior of the filter box
- Reassemble the saddle fol-lowing the disassembly pro-cedure in the reverse order.

3Nota:• Nel caso in cui il filtro fosse molto sporco lavarlo prima
con benzina poi con acqua e shampoo.• Nel caso che il filtro risulti danneggiato procedere
immediatamente alla sua sostituzione.
Attenzione:Dopo ogni intervento controllare che all'interno dellascatola del filtro non ci sia rimasto nessun oggetto.
Eseguire la pulizia del filtro ogni volta che il mezzo vieneutilizzato in fuoristrada.
Note:• If the filter is very dirty, wash it first with gasoline and
then with water and shampoo.• If the filter is damaged, replace it immediately.
Warning:After every intervention, check that nothing has beenleft inside the filter box.
Clean the filter every time the vehicle is used cross-country.

CANDELA
Mantenere la candela in buono stato contribuisce alladiminuzione dei consumi e all'ottimale funzionamentodel motore.
Per effettuare il controllo è sufficiente sfilare la pipettadella corrente e svitare la candela.Esaminare con uno spessimetro la distanza fra gli elet-trodi che dovrà essere di 0,5-0,6 mm, nel caso noncorrisponda a questo valore è possibile correggerlapiegando delicatamente l'elettrodo di massa.
Verificare inoltre che non presenti screpolature sull'iso-lante o elettrodi corrosi, in questi casi procedere all'im-mediata sostituzione.
Effettuare il controllo attenendosi alla tabella a pag. 28.
Per il montaggio della candela è consigliabile avvitarla amano fino a battuta, quindi bloccarla con la chiave.
Nota:• L'utilizzo di olii di bassa qualità determina l'aumento
dei depositi carboniosi, è quindi consigliabile utilizzareun olio di buona qualità consigliato a pag. 18.
• Si raccomanda di utilizzare sempre candeleCHAMPION L78C.
SPARK PLUG
Keeping the spark plug in good condition will reducefuel consumption and increase engine performance.
To perform the check, simply slide off the electricalconnection tube and unscrew the spark plug.Examine the distance between the electrodes with afeeler. This distance should be from 0.5 to 0.6 mm. If it isnot, it may be corrected by bending the earth elec-trode.
Check as well that there are no cracks in the insulationor corroded electrodes. If so, replace immediately.
Observe the chart on page 28 when performing thecheck.
When replacing the spark plug, screw it in by hand untilit stops, then tighten with a wrench.
Note:• Using poor quality oils causes carbon deposits form-
ing, therefore we suggest that oils of good quality beused, as recommended on page 18.
• Always use spark plugs of the CHAMPION L78C type.

Dopo la pulizia del motocicloè buona norma:
• smontare il coperchio vo-lano per eliminare l'even-tuale acqua entrata
• in caso di smontaggio erimontaggio accensioneverificare la coppia diserraggio delle viti di fis-saggio.
• eseguire la lubrificazionesopra i punti di snodo Adella sospensione posterio-re.
• eseguire una perfetta puli-zia e asciugatura del grup-po catena - corona -pignone seguita da unbuon ingrassaggio, al finedi mantenere più a lungo ilbuono stato di questi or-gani.
• asciugare bene eventualiparti metalliche soggettea corrosione, ossido, ecc.

CHECKS AFTER CLEANING
After cleaning the motorcy-cle, it is good practice to:
• Remove the flywheelcover to eliminate anywater that may have en-tered.
• In case of disassembly/as-sembly of the ignition sys-tem, check the tighteningtorque of the fixing screws.
• Lubricate the articulatedjoints A on the rear suspen-sion.
• Carefully clean and drythe chain-gear-pinion as-sembly and then applygrease thoroughly in orderto keep these parts in goodcondition as long as possi-ble.
• Dry well any metal partssubject to corrosion, oxi-dation, etc.

Freno anteriore / posterioreIl freno anteriore è del tipoa disco con comandomeccanico per cui neces-sita di interventi diregolazione periodici.Come mostra la figura il gio-co sulle leve dei freni deveessere di 5 ÷ 6 mm.La regolazione deve esse-re eseguita come segue:- in posizione di guida veri-
ficarne il gioco- qualora la corsa risultas-
se eccessiva agire sui re-gistri A sulla leva freno.
Attenzione:dopo ogni regolazione ser-rare la controghiera nel casosi intervenga sul registro del-la leva freno, e sulcontrodado nel caso laregolazione sia stata esegui-ta sul registro del mozzo ruo-ta.
ADJUSTMENT OF BRAKES
Front and rear brakeThe front brake is a mechani-cally operated disc brakerequiring periodic adjust-ment.The brake levers play mustbe 5-6 mm, as shown in thefigure.Perform the adjustment asfollows:- check the play in the driv-
ing position.- If travel is excessive, act
on registers A on the brakelever.
Caution:after every adjustment,tighten the check ring if thebrake lever register has beenadjusted, or the check nut ifyou have adjusted the wheelhub register.
Note: There is an adjuster B on the lever whichallows the lever position to be adjusted.

CHECK AND ADJUSTMENT OFSTEERING GEARPeriodically check the playin the steering sleeve bymoving the fork back andforth as shown in the figure.Whenever you feel play, ad-just as described below:- Loosen screws A- Loosen nut B, remove the
handlebar assembly- Remove spacers and then
adjust the play by actingon ring nut C.
For reassembly, proceed inthe reverse order.
Note: Correct adjustment, inaddition to not leaving anyplay, should not cause diffi-culty or irregularity in turningthe handlebar.

Il est conseillé d’effectuer, avant et après usage, quel-ques opérations de contrôle et d’entretien.En fait quelques minutes passées à ces opérations ren-dent la conduite plus sûre, et peuvent vous faire éco-nomiser temps et argent.Procédez aux contrôles en effectuant les vérificationssuivantes:
• Vérifiez la pression, l’état général et la profondeur desrainures des pneus.
• Pour les jours de froid il est conseillé de faire chaufferle moteur au ralenti quelques instants avant de partir.
• Après utilisation en tout terrain nous vous recomman-dons de laver votre véhicule soigneusement.

Um unangenehme Vorfälle während der Fahrt zu ver-meiden, wird empfohlen, vor und nach Benützung einigeKontroll- und Wartungsoperationen durchzu-führen. Wid-men Sie diesen Operationen einige Minu-ten, die Ihnen Zeit und Geld ersparen lassen und zusätzlicheine sichere Lenkung garantieren.Wie folgt fortschreiten:
• Den Druck, den Generalzustand und die Laufflächen-stärke überprüfen.
• Es wird geraten, bei kalter Witterung vor der Abfahrt,den Motor aufzuwärmen, indem er einige Sekundenauf Minimum laufen gelassen wird.

Durante el rodaje hasta los 500 km, aproximadamente,(N. 10 abastecimientos de carburante) se aconseja:
- Evitar de viajar a velocidad constante.
- Variando la velocidad, los componentes mecánicosse ajustan uniformemente en un menor tiempo.
- Evitar de sobrepasar el puño del gas a más de 3/4.
Atencion:
• Después de 500 km de recorrido sustituir el aceite dela transmisión en el cárter.
• Utilizar siempre gasolina super sin plomo y aceite debuena calidad.
• Después de la primera salida por caminos, procurarrepasar toda la tornillería.
RODAGE
Le rodage est d’environ 500 km (10 pleins de carburant)pendant cet période:

Die Einfahrung beträgt ungefähr 500 km (oder 10-malVolltanken). Während dieser Zeitspanne wird geraten:
- Vermeiden Sie, mit gleichbleibender Geschwin- digkeit zu fahren.
- Die Geschwindigkeit wechseln. Die Bestandteile wer-den gleichmäßiger und in kürzerer Zeit einlaufen.
- Vermeiden Sie, den Drehgasgriff über 3/4 zu drehen.
Achtung:
• Nach 500 km muss das Getriebeöl gewechselt werden.
• Ausschließlich bleifreies Superbenzin tanken undQualitätsöl benützen.

- Intervenez sur le levier dedémarrage de la moto enappuyant d’un coup depied franc comme l’illustrela figure et en tournant lé-gèrement la commandegaz.
- Moteur arrêté, fermez tou-jours le robinet d’essence.
Note:Si le moteur est froid insérezle levier starter B, en pous-sant sur le levier starter, dé-marrez le moteur, attendrequelques instants puis rem-placez le levier starter en po-sition initiale automatique-ment en tournant la poignéedu gaz.

Anmerkung:Bei kaltem Motor durch Drük-ken des Hebels B den Chokeeinschalten, einen Momentwarten und dann durch Dre-hen des Gasgriffs den Hebelautomatisch wieder in Aus-gangsstellung zurückstellen.

- Positionnez un récipientsous le moteur.
- Dévissez le bouchon deremplissage A et celui devidange B.
- Videz complètement lecarter de son huile usagée.
- Vissez le bouchon B.- Introduire 150 cc d’huile
neuve.- Refermez le bouchon de
remplissage.
ACEITE CARTER

- Den Carter komplett lee-ren
- Den Stopfen B schließen- 150 c.c. Öl einfüllen- Den Fü l lstutzen wieder
schließen.
Nota:Después de los primeros 500 km oN. 10 abastecimientos de carbu-rante de recorrido, sustituir el acei-te de cambio. Para la citada susti-tución atenerse a la tabla de lapág. 78, utilizando el lubricanteaconsejado en la pá. 63.

Para poder acceder al filtro esnecesario desmontar:- el asiento desenroscando los
tornillos A ubicados sobre elmismo asiento y extrayéndo-lo hacia arriba, luego proce-der de la siguiente manera:
- Sacar el filtro- Lavarlo con agua y con de-
tergente adecuado. En elcaso que el filtro se encuentremuy sucio lavarlo antes congasolina
- Secarlo- Bañarlo con aceite para filtro,
eliminando luego el exceso,de modo que no gotee
- Si es necesario, limpiar tam-bién el interior de la caja filtro
- Proceder el montaje, siguien-do las operaciones en senti-do inverso.
FILTRE A AIR
Pour accéder au filtre, il est né-cessaire de démonter:- le siège en dévissant les vis A
situées au-dessus du siègemême et en le défilant vers lehaut, puis suivre les indicationssuivantes:
- Enlever l’élément filtre.- Le laver avec eau et déter-
gent approprié. Dans le cas oùle filtre serait trop sale, le laverd'abord à l'essence.
- Le sécher.- L’imbiber d’huile pour filtres,
en éliminant l’excédent.- Si nécessaire nettoyer l’inté-
rieur du boitier filtre.- Procéder au remontage,
en faisant les opérations en sens inverse.

ben A über dem Sattel ab-schra
