The Mini Swesite is designed to have a low visual impact and at the same time protect the telecom hardware thanks to the fiberglass cylinder/radome at the bottom of the site.

AS we hAve Seen A growing need in the last year for new smaller Telecom sites we have developed a solution inspired by the famous Swesite concept and named it Mini Swesite.
The intention is to have a site with a small footprint which can be quickly established, with low visual impact and with all the radio equipment placed inside the tower itself.
ThiS SiTe CAn be up And running within one day and the inten-tion is to use it in urban environments or wherever a site of this type could be needed.
Please take your time and read through the brochure, if you need more information or a quote please get in contact with the CUE DEE sales team.

• Designed for light to heavy loads
• Low visual impact design
• Easy to erect manually or with a crane
• Small foot print wich makes it ideal for denesly populated areas
• Large variety of accessories
• Modular design to fit specific site designs
The Mini Swesite advantages
A telecom site doesn’t have to be just a tower. We now introduce the new Mini Swesite that combines both base station and tower in one. A low visual impact site with a very small foot-print making it ideal for densely populated areas.
Thank you for yourinterest in our new Mini Swesite

All in one SiTeSince the base station is located in the bottom section of the tower itself, there is no need for an external shelter. This gives many advan-tages such as a smaller footprint and shorter feeder cables.
deSign poSSibiliTieSThe Mini Swesite is built from 2 m K-mast sections and available in heights from 12 to 24 m wich makes it possible to tailor just the right site to fit your needs. Depending on antenna load and wind speeds on the site we use different types of mast sections from the standard K-600 section to the sturdy K-900 section.
The Mini Swesite is designed for urban environments but can of course be used wherever there is need for a site with a small footprint and low visual impact. This is especially advantageous on sites where standard telecom equipment is to be avoided for any reason or where permits to establish new sites are hard to come by. The small footprint (depending on type of foundation) is also an appreciated feature in densely populated areas.
The Mini Swesite can be used in manydifferent surroundings for many different purposes
There is also a possibility to use thecylinder as a billboard for advertisement.
inSTAllATionAll equipment such as RRU’s, feeder cables, base units, TMA’s, fil-ters etc. are secure inside the fiberglass cylinder. This eliminates the risk of vandalism on the site.
Apart from protecting the RRU´s the cylinder can be used as a bill-board for advertisement. Installation can either be done manually with a ginpole or with a crane depending on site access.

The slab foundation comes in twodifferent sizes depending on tower load and height.
you can have the Mini Swesiteup and running in 1 day!
foundATionSThere are three different types of foundations available for the Mini Swesite.
The rock and ground foundations have a very small footprint, no more then Ø1200 mm!Of course this makes the Mini Swesite ideal for densely populated areas or other site locations where there is a shortage of site space.
SlAb foundATionThe slab foundation comes in two different sizes depending on tower load and height. The smaller of the two is 4 x 4 m and the larger is 4.8 x 4.8 m. The advantage the slab foundation has over the other two types is building speed.
The parts are precast and locked together using tension springs, meaning that you can have the Mini Swesite up and running in 1 day!
It could also be the case that it is not allowed to use the rock or ground foundations on certain sites because of groundwater levels etc. the slab foundation is the natural choice in cases like these.
Medium size: 4,0 x 4,0 x 0,31 m (3 slabs each 4 tons) Total weight: 12 tons
Large size: 4,8 x 4,8 x 0,38 m (4 slabs each 4,8 tons) Total weight: 19,2 tons
• Always prepare the ground with cable ducting for power cables and grounding• The central slab is prepared with a rectangular hole for the passage
* If needed: Soil preparation with an insulating ground sheet to prevent frost.
The slabs are compressed to each other by reinforced tension rods type: Dywidag GWS 26,5

clever quality design forworldwide logistics and easy installation
Mini Swesite mounted on a slab foundation.
A circular runway and fiberglass shelter isinstalled around the base frame to protect the equipment.
bASe frAMeThe base frame section of the Mini Swesite is a hot dipped galvani-zed steel construction delivered in pieces for final assembly on site.
One side of the base frame is left open to fit the rectifier or the out-door cabinet. The outside of the base frame section can be fitted with RRU’s, electric cabinets, filters, etc. depending on what you need. And the inside is designed for a rectifier or an outdoor cabinet as stated above.
CylindriCAl ShelTerA circular runway and fiberglass shelter is installed around the base frame to protect the equipment. The cylindrical shelter consists of four wall elements, of which one is the door to allow for access to the hardware inside the base frame.
The wall elements are made of GRFP sandwich (glass fiber reinfor-ced plastic) and bolted together on the inside. The wall elements are resting on a rolling track with the wheels both in x and y direction which anchors the shelter but still keeps it rotatable.
The door is equipped with removable handles and lock to prevent unauthorized personnel from gaining access. The size of the cylindri-cal shelter is Ø 1700 mm and height 2900 mm.
Tower eleMenTSThe K-mast system is a series of quadrangular mast sections H=2 m of various widths. The sections are made in steel and welded accor-ding to welding quality standard EN 25817-92 and hot dip galvanized according to standard EN ISO 1461.
The sections are made from high quality solid steel rods, this means we avoid the risk off corrosion on the inside of the frame legs.
The sections are bolted together with 8.8 bolts hot dip galvanized according to ISO 10684:2004.

CALCULATIONS
All Mini Swesites are calculated according to ef-
fective rules and regulations in order to optimize
the tower.
Please contact CUE DEE ABfor further information.
Depending on wind speed, antenna load and height of the Mini Swesite we use different types of tower elements. In total there are 4 different sections available, they are: K-600, K-600 strong, K-900 and the tapered K-600/900 section. Here below you can see two typical tower configurations.
