How It Works• It’s easy! Complete and fax the one-page application to SCA, and SCA will provide a million-dollar duck/turtle (“duck”) contract. Sponsorship fee for the million-dollar program is $2,500.

• Prior to your race, SCA will contact GAME for your duck numbers and randomly select (“tag”) 3 ducks per every 10,000 ducks in your race. Numbers are tagged within blocks of 3,333.

How It Works• The week prior to your race, SCA will overnight mail a sealed envelope containing the tagged numbers, and instructions for calling the interactive 800-number after your race to determine whether or not you have a million dollar winner. • The ducks/turtles can race, or be plucked from the waterway.

How It Works• The adopter of the first place duck is eligible for the chance to win $1,000,000. If the winning duck number matches one of the tagged numbers, the adopter is the million-dollar winner! If the winning duck number does not match one of the tagged numbers, the adopter wins the first place prize. • Verification on race day is via SCA’s interactive Phone System.

How It Works• In the event of a million-dollar winner, the race organizer must return the security envelope unopened. Include the winner’s identification (photocopy of driver’s license), and a winner’s affidavit (included in SCA’s contract).

• The million dollar duck is paid in 25 equal annual installments of $40,000 each.

• In the event of no million-dollar winner, the race organizer may open the sealed envelope to see the tagged duck numbers.

FAQ’sAre the odds of a winning duck affected by how many ducks are in the race? The total number of ducks in your race does not affect the odds of winning. One duck per race will be selected to try to match a winning duck number. We choose one winning duck in every 3333 ducks regardless of the size of the race (a 10,000 duck race will have 3 winning ducks; a 50,000 duck race will have 15 winning ducks).

What happens if I don’t sell all of my ducks?SCA will select a winner from the entire range of ducks available for your race, so you can sell adoptions on race day. If all the ducks are not sold, you will still have a proportional representation of pre selected ducks.

Million Dollar Duck DescriptionMillion-dollar* duck: One duck in every 3,333 ducks in the duck race will be randomly selected as a potential winning million dollar duck. The winning duck numbers are selected prior to the race and kept in a sealed security envelope. When the first adopted duck crosses the finish line, a race official will determine whether the duck is one of the preselected million-dollar winning ducks (amend the previous sentence if you are not using the first place duck). If it is, the duck adopter wins the million dollar* prize. If it is not, the million dollars will not be awarded. The odds of being pre-selected as a potential winner of the Million Dollar Duck are approximately 1:3333. The odds of being the 1st place duck will depend on the total number of entries. *The million-dollar prize is paid in 25 equal annual installments of $40,000 each, without interest.

No purchase is necessary. A purchase does not increase your chances of winning.Alternate form of entry: The purpose of this event is to raise funds for (your organization’s name), but you may request a duck number for no donation by sending a self addressed, stamped envelope along with your request to (address. All requests must be received by (date).
