MILES RESIDENCES, KIRRA POINT Construction Update, August 2021 WORK HOURS AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT Gold Coast City Council has permitted work onsite between 6:30am and 6:30pm Monday to Saturday, however, the project team will endeavour to start later and finish earlier to minimise disruption to our neighbours as much as possible. Large equipment may be delivered to or removed from the site via Musgrave and Rutledge streets outside of these times, as required and permitted by the Department of Transport and Main Roads. Management plans for the potential for dust and noise will continue to be implemented. If you have any queries about construction activities you can call us (during normal business hours) on 0457 445 419. We also encourage you to share this notice with anyone you think may be interested, and encourage them to visit www.kbhproject.com.au and register for future development and construction updates. Construction on site is in full swing after Hutchinson Builders began secant piling works in early August. The piling work is forecast to continue until mid-October and is creating the retaining walls that will provide ground stability and soil retention when the careful excavation of the site begins. Secant pile walls are built by driving intersecting or interlocking reinforced piles into the ground, and the decision to use this approach over other methods provides a range of benefits for the project and our neighbours – including being less noisy to construct. Infrastructure works external to the site and the required traffic control are expected to finish early September. Sewer augmentation works and the undergrounding of power lines along Miles Street and Marine Parade are included in this work. Hutchinson Builders beginning piling works on site

Construction Update, August 2021

WORK HOURS AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENTGold Coast City Council has permitted work onsite between 6:30am and 6:30pm Monday to Saturday, however, the project team will endeavour to start later and finish earlier to minimise disruption to our neighbours as much as possible.
