PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Thank you to all our families who have made a book donation to our Library over the past few weeks. Its wonderful that we can keep new books coming into our school library for all our students to borrow. Reading has so many benefits, it sparks our children's imagination and stimulates curiosity. At last weeks assembly our Stage 3 students had the opportunity to showcase what they have been learning in Music and Drama lessons. They performed a section from the musical Annie in a COVID safe way. They certainly had the whole school captivated. Congratulations to our Girls Touch Football team on their success in the PSSA touch football knockout. Have a great week!
Mrs Nicole Livermore

COVID-19
Students should not attend school if unwell, even with mild symptoms of COVID-19. Any person with any COVID-19 symptoms should be sent home and should not return until they have received a negative test result and are symptom-free.
If you child has a COVID-19 test can you please inform the school of the results before your child returns to school. Results can be sent to our school email address or please contact the office for an alternative way.
In circumstances where children have other medical reasons for recurrent symptoms a letter from their GP is sufficient to negate the requirement for a negative test. The negative test needs to be shown to the school.
Non-essential visitors are not permitted in schools. Families are unable to attend our school assemblies. Families must maintain physical distancing by avoiding gathering outside of school gates and follow mask-wearing requirements and sign in using the Service NSW QR code when entering the school for meetings.

PSSA Touch Football Knockout Congratulations to the Senior Girls who were victorious in their match against Mulyan Public School last Wednesday in Cowra.
The girls put up a strong defence and despite running into the wind during the first half they managed to have a 2-0 lead at half time. The second half proved to be more challenging when the rain started. The ground was very slippery and Mulyan were able to score. However, not to be out beaten, Middleton scored two more tries and came out as winners with a 4-1 victory.
The girls now proceed to the quarter final. We wish them luck!
