Self-reflection

Previous lesson : Structure and rules of Argumentative Essay have been taught to students and I

realize students does not know how to use correct adverbs in order to express their ideas more

effectively in this type of essay.

Today’s lesson: Students will be drilled on intensifier adverbs and how to use those adverbs in

Argumentative Essays to side stronger.

Absolutely: Used to give strong emphasis to what is being said

Slightly: Not very substantial or convincing

Hardly: Used to indicate that something is true or exists to a very minimal extent.

Nearly: Almost but not quite the case.

Barely: Scarcely or almost not.
