The area is attached to our newly renovated beer garden allowing guests the opportunity to enjoy views over the gardens, with easy access to the main bar. The Garden Pavilion is equipped with lighting, heating and glass doors, making the space adaptable to all kinds of weather conditions.

This option is great for those who are on a tight budget but still wish to offer something to their guests.

You choose what you want your guests to have a choice of and how much you want your guests to pay per drink. This money is then paid off to your bar tab, minimizing the cost to you.

terms & conditions1. Pricing

All prices are current at the time of the quotation and are subject to revision by the function manager prior to the signing of the event booking form.

2. Confirmation of Booking

Confirmation of a booking by the client must be in writing within seven (7) days of any verbal reservation. Should your deposit and signed agreement not be returned within 7 days, Mick O’Shea’s Hotel management reserves the right to release the date and allocate the booking to another client after reasonable attempts are made to contact you.

3. Security Deposit

A minimum deposit of $350 is required at the time of confirmation for all areas, excluding the Pavilion. This $350 is to be used on food. If booking the pavilion, we require $500, $250 is to be used on food and $250 is for you to have private use of this area. In the event of cancellation by the client, the deposit will not be refundable. This term may be altered by the discretion of the management of Mick O’Shea’s Hotel.

4. Payment

The full cost of the wedding package ($750 or $900) is to be paid no later than 90 days prior to your event.Unless prior arrangements have been made with Mick O’Shea’s Hotel management. Final guest numbers need to be provided and all food and drink accounts are to be paid in full, fourteen (14) days prior to the function. Failure to pay on these terms implies that you agree to pay cost of collection, legal fees and any other litigation expenses, should it become necessary to refer an account to an agency or solicitor for recovery. A valid credit card is required as additional security on the day of the function.

5. Cancellation

In the event of cancellation, the following conditions will apply:

A. Greater than 90 days of the function date, all deposits will be refunded to the customer.

B. Within 90 days of the function date, all deposits and the full cost of the wedding package excluding food and drink charges shall be forfeited.

C. Within 72 hours of the function date, all deposits shall be forfeited, and the client shall pay 100% of the agreed cost of the said function.

6. Final Attendance

Final confirmation of guests’ numbers and dietary requirements is required fourteen (14) days prior to the event. After that time, any reduction in numbers will not result in a reduction of the total amount owed. The ability to increase numbers after that date will depend on availability of space and food preparation. An increase of numbers will be charged accordingly. It is the responsibility of the client to contact Mick O’Shea’s Hotel management regarding final numbers.

7. Client Responsibility

The client is to inform all relevant persons involved in the organising of the function, of the venue’s terms and conditions.

8. Damages

Although all care will be taken, Mick O’Shea’s Hotel management is unable to accept responsibility for damage to or loss of property left on our premises prior to, during or after your function. The client is financially responsible for any damages, theft or breakages caused to the property and/or equipment of Mick O’Shea’s Hotel. Therefore, the client will bear the cost of repairs/replacement and cleaning charges as determined by the management.

9. Compliance and Liability

It is understood that the client will conduct their function in an orderly manner, in full compliance with Mick O’Shea’s Hotel management and all applicable laws. The venue reserves the right to exclude or eject any and all objectionable persons from the function or the premises without liability.

10. Alcohol

Responsible service of alcohol: Mick O’Shea’s Hotel reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol to intoxicated or disorderly patrons. These patrons may also be asked to leave the premises.

11. Regulations

All functions must comply with liquor licensing regulations. It is a condition of our licence that all evening entertainment finishes at 12:00am with all guests to depart the venue prior to 1:00am. All persons under the age of eighteen (18) is not allowed on Mick O’Shea’s premise after 12:00am.

12. Smoking

Mick O’Shea’s is a non-smoking venue. There are limited outdoor smoking areas where ashtrays are provided.

13. Food and Beverage

The menu choices and drinks packages are to be finalised no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event, as well as any guest dietary requirements.

14. Set Up and Delivery of Equipment

Clients are responsible for the cost involved in ensuring set up and break down time of the function space. All deliveries to the venue must be advised prior and must be marked with the name and date of function.

15. Consumption

No food or beverages will be permitted into the venue for consumption at the function by the client, guests, invitees or persons attending the function.

Cake will be accepted at an additional charge and by prior arrangement.

16. Confetti and Scatters

No confetti, scatters or similar are permitted anywhere in the venue including the grounds. Removal of such substance will be at the cost of the client.

Rose petals are permitted.

17. Cleaning

General cleaning is included in the cost of the function. However, cleaning requirements which are deemed to be over and above normal circumstances may incur an additional charge.

18. Weather Conditions

Bookings made are at organisers risk of weather conditions. We may not be able to accommodate guests to another area. Due to weather conditions a refund will not be feasable.

19. Set Up and Pack Down

When setting up or packing down your function Mick O'Sheas accepts no responsibilities for injuries or accidents caused.
