Professional Profile: Creative thinker After 20 years in advertising, (I started and owned Arrow Advertising in the late 80’s into the 90’s BTL /Below the line) Agency, which went on to become the best in KZN, winning local, national and international awards for design, innovation and creative and advertising excellence. Business Consultant to SMME’s and Industrial property sales are my current vocation since 2005 /2012. I have just completed studying my NQF4 through SAREA, and achieved 81% for my FSAT exam, and have been passed as Competent and am awaiting final SSETA adjudication results.

My objective is to get a permanent position in marketing, property or related fields.

About: I have consulted to smaller/medium sized clients since 2005. I am a multi talented person with a sharp mind having been successful in advertising, managing large corporate events, PR, business development plans and Industrial property sales. I am also a musician and have completed 2 CD’s. I needed a break from main stream advertising. My staff count was 68 and I got divorced unfortunately, and with the sheer work load and stress, would probably not be writing this had I not taken the break I needed. In 2005 I consulted to Weighless Group and achieved R13, 5 million worth of PR exposure with a budget of R 1, 2 million (in 6 months) together with Herdboys Ramsay. During 2013 I consulted with Pedego E Bikes for 8 months at R 7500 pm, and achieved over R 2 million worth of PR exposure with a budget of only R 107,500. I also sold the Hout Bay dealership and 24 electric bikes out of a total of 60, more than anyone else.

Now: Currently I consult to selected clients/SMME’S assisting them with business development plans, corporate image, funding, media and marketing issues and buy and sell industrial property for various clients. I have been with Alf Burgess Properties from 2012 to date and have sold various industrial properties large and small, leased many more and am also busy with some very large deals; R 35 -R 178 million. My contributions to the business are the highest, currently at over R1, 2m commissions earned for the company, my portion being approx R 496,000. (2015) I secured a 6 month sole mandate from LaFarge for a key site in Pinetown that we sold for R 17,5 million the asking price. I have sourced stock as in factories through cold calling and building good client relationships. I have researched, presented and executed presentations of property opportunities to director level of Redefine, Clearwater Capital, Onelogix, Bakers Transport, Supergroup and ARB Holdings and others. These are only some of my clients. I was given The Lords Of The Manor Hotel to sell by a friend who is the owner, and embarked on a joint venture with Fine and Country to market the property internationally. (See Portfolio) The property featured in the Executive Homes Worldwide Magazine as well as The Fine and Country Magazine and went into approx 24 countries. I deal with directors / owners of companies on a day to day basis and my understanding of business in general holds me in good stead with them. My approach is professional, ethical at all costs and I have respect from opposition agents as a person they can trust with Joint Ventures.
