• 6:50 a.m. – 2:50 p.m. • Library is open during lunch

period

Rules Enter the library quietly. Sign-in at the circulation desk. No food or drinks allowed. Cell phones must be turned off and out of sight. Work quietly – study groups should keep their

voices low. Reserve time for meetings, clubs and

presentations in advance. Leave the library in the same condition it was

when you entered.

Circulation Of Materials

3 items may be checked out: books, magazines, newspapers, some reference books

Some reference books may be checked out overnight

Library materials are due in 14 daysThere are no overdue fines but all lost and

damaged books will be paid for or replaced by the student at the end of each year.

OPAC(Online Public Access Catalog)

The “Card Catalog” is found on the desktop of each computer in the library. OPAC

When searching for a title, omit the words “A”, “An”, “The”. THE GREAT GATSBY becomes GREAT GATSBY in the search.

An author search begins with the author’s last name first: Fitzgerald, F. Scott

The Subject search will give a list of books on a certain topic: Jazz Age or The Roaring Twenties

Write down the Call Number of the books you want.

The Status or the availability will be listed as either “in” or “out”.
