Our Mission : To advance the educational ministry of the Catholic Church by creating a compassionate atmosphere which promotes faith, knowledge, and service. [ ]
We are grateful for your support for the special hurricane relief out of
uniform day last week. We collected $611.45 for Catholic Charities USA. They have an integral role in providing recovery relief for many people
affected by the recent hurricanes. We are happy that we could donate to such a wonderful cause. Please continue to keep the responders who are instruments of peace and the individuals affected by disasters in your prayers.
Thank you to Luke Rivard (an HA alum) for joining all of our Music Classes on Tuesday! Luke is a freelance percussionist, drummer,
and educator. He brought his African Drumming Ensemble to HA & our kids loved it! See more photos on Facebook!
Picture re-takes are on Monday, October 2nd. Please send your child to school with the entire envelop of photos you were given. If they are taking photos for the first time, please send them with the order form. Orders can be placed online. Forms can be printed here.
Over the last 16 months, our teachers and staff have been diligently researching and collecting information for the self study portion of our upcoming school accreditation. They have documented information about key school processes and leadership, academic programs, religious studies, and our focus on service. A team from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee will be visiting our school on Wednesday, October 4th and Thursday, October 5th for our accreditation site visit. These teams are currently reviewing the online materials we
have prepared. When they visit us next week, they will be observing our classrooms, meeting with staff, students, and ministry leaders. They will also be randomly calling parents with questions about their experiences. We are looking forward to this next step in the accreditation process and thank you for your ongoing support of our school!
We pray. We learn. We serve.

Meet Mrs. Karleen Meyer, our new 5K teacher! “I’m very happy to be a part of the Holy
Apostles school family! What a great bunch! I love teaching Kindergarten because the students get so excited about learning new things. When they are excited about a new accomplishment, I’m excited right there with them! Being able to be a part of a child’s life during such important milestones, such as learning to read, is AMAZING for me. “I also love to dance and act, so being able to bring that into my classroom for the kids makes my job even more exciting. I love being silly with the kids and I think it's important for them to see that learning can be fun! When I’m not at school, my husband and I love playing board games and games of strategy. We also are self proclaimed foodies, searching for the best food trucks or new up and coming restaurants!”
Home & School Association ... Our Home & School Association (HSA) supports the spiritual and educational mission of Holy Apostles School. We

Athlete of the Week HA’s Athlete of the Week honors our amazing athletes! Every week, we will showcase an athlete who consistently shows up with great work ethic, team work, goal setting, and a commitment toward individual responsibility and individual growth.
This week’s Athlete of the Week is Marin Kosidowski! Marin is a 5th grader and a three sport athlete. She is an excellent volleyball player and athlete who never lets her size stop her from excelling. She is a natural volleyball player who was the only one to get multiple passes to target during the teams first matches. Marin always steps up in high-pressure situations and goes after every ball. Congrats Marin, and thank you for being an outstanding example!
Know an athlete that works hard? Share their story with us using the subject line, “Athlete of the Week
Submission”! In addition to being featured in the Messenger, all Athlete of the Week stories will also be shared with the Catholic Herald for possible inclusion in their publication!
Support HA at the this weekend’s 8th Grade Invitational Volleyball Tournament! Our 8th grade girls’ volleyball team is currently in 1st place in the Parkview Parochial League with a 5-0 match record and a 14:1 game record! Cheer them on this weekend as HA hosts the eight top local teams competing in our invitational tournament. The first match is Friday night at 5pm vs. St. Robert’s. We hope to see you there!
Have a 4th grader girl? All 4th graders and their families receive free admission to the tournament. 4th grade students will also receive popcorn sit on the stage with the players between games!
Our 5th grade girls’ volleyball team defeated St. Leonard’s and St. Greg's this past weekend! The team fought their way back
through the Comeback Bracket to win the Tournament Title. The team would like to thank their parents, the HAAB, sponsors, and volunteers for making that tournament a success. Team members: Morgan Parr, Marin Kosidowski, Alexis Kwiatkowski, Jasmine Nguyen, Payton Kutmas, Annabelle Shaw, Maria Sundarajan, Lucy Gratz, and Maria Burke. Head coach is Alyssa Miklosy and the assistant coach is Bridget Miklosy. Congratulations and great job girls!
Do you love coming to games? Want some free HA spirit apparel?! Then consider joining the HA Athletic Board! Before you say, “But I’m not sporty!” or “I don’t have enough time!” we’re happy to share that a background in
sports isn’t required and we will work to accommodate your schedule. And…if you have an athlete…you’ll probably already be at the gym watching their games. So, why not share your voice help us make decisions how to help the program, our facility, our coaches, and our athletes. If you’re interested in learning more about the board or open positions, please reach out to Mike Schmidt. GO CHARGERS!
