GIVINGCongratulations to our Students!
With winter break beginning it’s a great time to reflect on and spend time with family and friends. We are blessed to play a role in your children’s lives and we have as a high priority developing positive relationships and great character in our students. Adult models are critical in these factors, and the BES staff and parent community provide our students a wonderful example of cooperation, respect, and care for one another. Our staff connections are strong and supportive, as is our relationship with the PTO and other community organizations. It has been a great blessing for me to be a part of this exemplary school community.
Enjoy your family, relax, and have a great holiday season!

Upcoming BES Events
The 9th Annual BES Science Night
Science night will take place on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 6 pm - 8 pm.
We're currently looking for science or technology experts/enthusiasts to share their knowledge with the BES students and their families at this fabulous event. We've got some great exhibits lined up already, but we're always looking to expand the range of our exhibits. If you or someone you know (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, etc) have some knowledge to share, we'd love their participation! Think outside of the box -- if uncle Paul is an HVAC expert. he could talk to students about geothermal...if aunt Sue is a doctor or a dentist, she could talk to the students about keeping their bodies or teeth healthy...many people have talents/expertise that would fascinate the kids. If you or someone you know would be interested in having a booth at the event, please contact Nicole Kimble at [email protected] for details.
Father Son Event Brainstorming/Planning Meeting
On January 7th from 7-8pm in the Library, we will hold a planning meeting for the Father/Son event. All are welcome! The Father Son EVENT is scheduled for March 18th
from 6-8pm. Hope you can join in the fun for our dads and lads! Contact Allison Dumont with questions, [email protected].
COSI
Calling all volunteers! Please put Tuesday 1/12 on your calendars as COSI on Wheels will be present “It’s Simply Chemistry” to our BES students!
Look for a Sign-Up Genius as soon as we return from break. Please consider volunteering the morning or afternoon session. Any questions, please contact: Tricia O’Rourke 505-9370, [email protected]
BES Food Drive
TALENT SHOW
Support our BES Students!
Join us for the BES “Got Talent” Show on Friday, Jan. 29th at 7:00 pm. The show will be approximately 2 hours.
It's a MUST SEE!
In February, our school will support our community by participating in a food drive! The food drive will be February 8 – 16th. We are looking for sturdy boxes to move the food from school to Milford
Miami Ministries. If you have access to sturdy boxes, please contact Lea Ann Tamerius, [email protected].
Looking to volunteer? Watch for a sign-up genius to go out in January. We will need help collecting food each morning and packing up food to take to Milford Miami Ministries. We welcome help from parents, students and teachers!
