As part of First Unity’s effort, the organization generally requests

congregants and guests to maintain a neat and clean appearance that is appropriate for Sunday Service. Recognizing that congregants and visitors to our services may have sensitivity or allergic reactions to various fragrant products, First Unity requests to limit fragrances while attending services.

To honor our sacred space, only service animals are allowed in service. To help keep our Sanctuary clean, only bottled water is allowed in the

Sanctuary. First Unity is a SMOKE-FREE campus. No smoking is permitted on the

grounds. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Sunday Inspirational Services

Infants through young adults explore Unity Principles at an age appropriate level using metaphysical interpretations of the Bible and other resources. The children creatively experience these lessons through art, music, meditation, and games along with Prayer and Meditation. The First Unity curriculum is designed to provide children and young adults with a spiritual toolbox that they can use throughout life.

YOUTH MINISTRY CLASSES Sundays 9:30am & 11:30am Ages 6 weeks through 18 years of age.

Youth of Unity (Y.O.U.) | Ages 14-18 years: Helene Lepowski is the group leader. This group meets on Sundays in Room 401; 10:30am – 12:30pm

Uniteens | Ages 10-13 years: Linda McLeod is the group leader. This group meets on Sundays in Room 200; 11:30-12:30pm

I AM Kids | Ages 5-9 years: Kim Shrovanek is the group leader. This group meets on Sundays in Rooms 201-203; both during the 9:30am & 11:30am services

Nursery | Infants to 4 years: Hazel Madir is the group leader. This group meets on Sundays in the Nursery during 9:30am service. During 11:30am service the 3-4 years old meet in Room 201 lead by David Swindall & Christina.

First Unity’s Pet Ministry Sundays, after services, LaGattuta Hall Our pet adoption ministry started in 2013! Rescue teams visit us weekly and bring amazing dogs and cats to be adopted. Animal adoptions at First Unity are every Sunday from 10:30am–1:30pm in LaGattuta Hall.

Metaphysics IV Gary Ammerman, LUT Tuesdays, January 9 – February 6, 2018, 7-9pm

I AM Center, $75/pp

In this advanced course, the student will further investigate and apply the Truth they have learned in the previous metaphysics courses; Metaphysics 1, 2 and 3. This course summarizes and organizes metaphysical teachings so that Truth may be demonstrated in their life. Through the consistent use of these practical principles, the student will consciously transform their life and realize more of their spiritual potential.

The Creative Process in the Bible Gary Ammerman, LUT Mondays, February 5 – March 5, 2018, 6-8pm I AM Center, $75/pp

This advanced course focuses on an allegorical understanding of the seven days

of creation, as related in the Bible (Genesis 1:1 – 2:3), and the seven steps of the

Creative Process.

Overview of the Christian Scriptures Gary Ammerman, LUT

I AM Center, $75/pp

This course explores the Gospels, letters, history (Book of Acts), and apocryphal

literature (Book of Revelation) that comprise what is more commonly known as the

“New Testament” of the Judeo-Christian Bible. The student will develop a basic

understanding of the Christian Scriptures’ meaning for the people to whom they

were written.

Whatever the blessing in your cup, it's sure to run over. With God the calf is always the fatted calf, the robe is always the best robe, the joy is unspeakable, the peace beyond understanding...God's way is always characterized by overflowing bounty.

The last thing on earth we need to worry about--is having enough. Do fish worry about running out of ocean, or birds about having enough space to fly? The cup God gives you IS overflowing with mercy! Are you afraid to run dry, that your warranty will expire or that your mistakes in life are too great for God's grace? NO WAY!

The overflowing cup is a powerful symbol. When you are visiting a friend and your cup is kept full you are welcome. But when your cup runs dry, your friend’s hinting “It's time for you to go". God never lets your cup run dry! God's abundance is LOVE overflowing! Is your cup overflowing today? Yes, because a) God says you are always welcome b) your seat at the table is always guaranteed, nobody can take your place c) your needs will be and are being abundantly supplied.

So today, stand up and announce, "MY CUP OVERFLOWS!"
