The Meriden Public Library has a 3D printer available for public use. Whether you have a design you made yourself or one found online, you can reserve a time to come in and print it out for free. Printer sessions are available daily. More information about our 3D printer can be found on our website at meridenlibrary.org or contact the Information Desk at (203) 238-2346.

even some from the farm. You’ll have a chance to meet them eyeball to eyeball

and touch a few too! Presented by the Stamford Museum and Nature Center.

Monday July 13 6:30pm Brave Little Tailor: a Puppet Show • A handful of interesting characters adds

up to a fantastic journey that one young tailor must make to become a royal

knight. Presented by Lionheart Puppet. Ages 4-11.

Friday July 17 10:30am Turtle Dance Music • Turtle Dance Music presents a wonderful, zany and

gentle program that is sure to have children moving and grooving. All ages.

well…be prepared to laugh a lot! Amazing tricks, hilarious jokes, and fun for

the whole family! All ages.

this program for our youngest patrons! Birth- 6 yrs old.

heroic lives: Chinchillas, Rose Hair Tarantula, Red-eyed Tree Frogs, Solomon

Friday July 31 10:30am Rockin’ and Readin’ with Pete the Cat • A highly interactive musical

performance that promotes the joy of reading and Al will bring Pete and his

adventures to life while strumming out Pete’s very cool and groovy songs on his

Monday August 3 6:30pm Frisbee Fun! • Two-time Freestyle Frisbee Champion, Todd Brodeur,

educates, entertains and motivates his audience with captivating Frisbee shows

Monday August 10 6:30pm Flow Circus • Not all superheroes are born with special powers. Join performer

Paul Miller as he learns that super skills like juggling and magic can be

Friday August 14 10:30am Incredible Edible Insects! • Discover the who, what, where and why behind

eating bugs. From mealworm spaghetti to roasted tarantula, we’ll find out why

people have been eating insects and invertebrates for hundreds of years. Brave

participants will have a chance to try an edible insect snack, if desired. All ages.

Tuesday, July 7 6:30pm Life in a Smashbook. 4-8. A smashbook is a journal with pictures, personal memories, stuff you love, notes, favorite quotes and souvenirs. This quick and easy scrapbooking technique is a great way to “tell your story”! Each participant will go home with a scrapbook at the end of the 6-week session. Registration is required.

Wednesday, July 8 4:00pm Science Lab: Thrill Ride! Design a crazy roller coaster ride for a marble—but make sure it doesn’t fly off the track! K-3.
