Get rewarded for the reading you are already doing this summer! This summer the Meriden Public Library will again host our Summer Reading Challenge for teens and adults. Log your books as you read them this summer and be entered into our weekly
raffle with prizes from l o c a l b u s i n e s s e s
including Café Dolce, Nardelli’s, Huxley’s and others. Register anytime and start logging your books. Our grand prize drawing of a Kindle Fire will be held August 21
st.

The Meriden Public Library has a 3D printer available for public use. Whether you have a design you made yourself or one found online, you can reserve a time to come in and print it out for free. Printer sessions are available daily. More information about our 3D printer can be found on our website at meridenlibrary.org or contact the Information Desk at (203) 238-2346.

educates, entertains and motivates his audience with captivating Frisbee shows

Friday August 14 10:30am Incredible Edible Insects! • Discover the who, what, where and why behind
eating bugs. From mealworm spaghetti to roasted tarantula, we’ll find out why
people have been eating insects and invertebrates for hundreds of years. Brave
participants will have a chance to try an edible insect snack, if desired. All ages.

This quick and easy scrapbooking technique is a great way to “tell your story”! Each participant will go home with a scrapbook at the end of the 6-week session. Registration is required.
