Account Management

In my role as account manager, it is my responsibility to launch online platform or product (giveanything.com gift certificate) as per the client’s expectations.

For platform design, I will work with the client’s expectations and style guide directions.

When directing the client though the design process, I will review their main corporate suite and discuss with the client the type of experience they want the user to have. I will take that information back to my designer, along with my site design expectations, we work to return with 2 splash page designs.

In this client’s case, they wanted a redemption site that showcased their product(sink manufacturer)…

Account Management…The Finished Product

In addition to building online incentive and recognition platforms, we also provide the reward experience through a 16 digit gift certificate.

The gift certificate number is delivered via email correspondence. The email is usually designed in relationship to the site.(Logo, Header, Client approved images)

Account Management

In addition to being a redemption site for Lawn Maintenance Products(Sales Incentive), this client requested that the site also be translated into French.

The interesting challenge when translating a site is that you have to maintain the look and feel of the original product.

Certain text(words/descriptions) are longer/shorter depending on the language. I spent considerably time finding a middle ground between the site translator and design team.

Client ServicesThe Shopping Experience

As the Client Services/Customer Experience Manager- I am responsible for the customer shopping experience.

The focus of this role is constantly on customer feedback. I am constantly working with my customer service, design and tech teams on further enhancing the “Shopping Experience”. The slightest of changes can have impacts of magnitude proportions.

Design is kept simple, some mouseover is used to eliminate confusion while shopping. I implemented a intuitive self-help section to direct the user through their shopping experience

Comments:Collaborated with a Site developer; We discussed site structure as well as design elements. It was important to me that the site be complimentary to the work shown but not to distract the user. I provided him with the ‘jpegs’,text and desired color theme

2009 Big Ideas, Micro Museum: Vertical Penmanship Exhibition, Honorable Mention

This piece is reflective of my art style. I am a fan of contrast and pushing the “Line” boundaries. The Line is the idealization of a straight object with negligible length and width.

Comments:Created in response to the death of Nedā Āġā Soltān. This piece was created after repeated exposure to the various media communications regarding the story. In creating this piece, I focused on the colors that were the most prevalent in the video clip, the red of the blood and the black of her head covering.

Photography

I hear you, I see you*Bronze Ear Sculpture located in a steel column on the L Line.

Photography has developed from hobby to serious interest for me.

When shooting, I will either have a pre-determined theme or develop it at I shoot.

In the Street Trash Series, I operated the camera with 1 guideline: Subject must be shot in their “natural” state. No composition manipulation allowed.

In Chinese New Year 2010 & Pear Shots, I tended to focus on contrast and cultivating humor through the images.
