In long-ago 1894,in fact , Domeni-co Melegatti obtained the “Exclusive Rights Certificate “ (what was then a patent) to produce Pandoro, the refi-ned new cake born from its creativity and skill of baker.Since then, the famous Pandoro and other delicious Panettone and cakes were handed down from generation to generation till today with the same attention for quality and use of natural ingredients, which makes the products Melegatti a flagship of Italian pastry in the world.The company has since then grown also nationally and internationally.In 1951 the first real production plant

for it was opened and the develop-ment was fast enough to bring to the company international fame and po-pularity.In 1983 a new Plant was built outside Verona and till today continuous im-provement in production, quality as-surance and product development are made. Melegatti received meantime the “Award for Quality” from Verona Pro-vince Manufacturers Association and obtained the quality certification ISO 9001 and BRC.Always guided by values as innova-tion in quality and tradition... and the fairytale continues.
