• This is news in terms of news values because it has something to do with the public. By being about animals and cute dogs then people with dogs or people who work for the dogs trust might be affected by this news.

• This appeals to me because I although I don’t have a dog I like dogs as they are cute and friends for life.

• Also there is an impact as people who may own these breed of dogs would be effected as they wouldn’t want their dogs breed to dye out.
