My name is Mecho. I am a 3 year oldBernese Mountain Dog.

My partner Lori and I have beenvolunteering together since March 2013 at

Ina Grafton nursing home. SinceSeptember of 2014 she has been drivingme to my schools for the Paws 4 Stories

program. Children read to me atPinegrove, Parnall, Grapeview and

Woodland Elementary schools. In thesummer I go to St. Alfredsand the

Welland Library.

I like all stories about dogs, but myfavourite are ones about me. I like tolook at the pictures as you read my story.

I like to play with all my stuffed animals.

My name is Jamie a 6 year old GoldenRetriever. This is a picture of Deanna andme. We have been volunteering with St.

John Ambulance Therapy Dogs for over 2years. We have been with the Paws 4

Stories for 1 years. I like when childrenread books about puppies and farting

dogs to me at Parnall school.

My favourite toy is a green squeaky frogthat I love to play with.

Thats me Mickey a Chihuahua. I amalmost 4 years old. Dianne and I have

been volunteering with St. John

Ambulance for 3 years. We have beenwith the Paws 4 stories for 1 year visiting

at Parnall and Woodland schools.

My favourite books are about Biscuitbecause he is as small as me.

I love squeaky toys and my special ballthat mom puts treats inside.

I am a Chihuahua too. My name is Tequilaand I am Mickeys brother which meanswe have to share Dianne. I take turns

with him to visit Parnall or Woodlandschools. I have been in the St. John

Ambulance Therapy Dog program for 1/2a year. I only just started doing the Paws4 stories in September. I am 2 years old

and love hearing stories about fartingdogs.

Mechos books are good too because Ilearn a lot about other Therapy dogs.

I love to play with Mickey and mystuffed tiger.

My name is Regan and I am a 6 years oldGolden Retriever. Dawn and I have been

with St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs

for 2 years. We joined the Paws 4 storiesprogram last year.

I love all the books that the children readto me at Grapeview school. When I amnot at the school I love to play with any

kind of ball.

Hi I am Bosco and this is Al. I am an 8year old chocolate lab. I have been with

St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog

program for 2 years, and with the Paws 4stories program for 1 years.

I enjoy having children read to me atPinegrove, Parnall, and Grapeview

school. I like to listen to stories aboutdogs and cats. My favourite books are

about Walter the Farting dog.

My favourite toy is any type of ball and Ilove treats.

I am Rupert. This is Peter. I am an 8 yearold Standard Poodle. We have been with

St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog

program for 5 years. We joined the Paws4 stories program in September.

I listen to children who read to me atGordon Public School in Welland.

My favourite thing to do is play with ayounger dog named Shiraz.

I love books about animals and think it isreally great when the students make theanimal sounds. That is the icing on the

milk bone.
