Since its founding in 1984, ENERCON provides the production, construction and maintenance of wind turbines. ENERCON Services UK Ltd began in 2005. Today there are over 800 operational ENERCON turbines across the United Kingdom. Responsibilities • You will be climbing wind turbines • Ensure completion of all mechanical maintenance schedules on time. • Fault finding and reporting on mechanical equipment • Installation and retrofitting of key mechanical and other components • Carry out risk assessments and method statements when and where necessary • Ensure that there is good communication between indoor technicians and the service dispatch coordinator and all issue are reported promptly for rectification. • Maintain the highest standards of work and courtesy when dealing with customers. • Adhere to all relevant health and safety requirements. • Ensure there is full coverage and support for weekend working and cover which includes providing on-call cover when required. • When and where necessary, travel to WEC sites throughout the UK, Germany and elsewhere in Europe. • Assist with the Electrical Technician as and when permitted Skills • Level 3 qualification in a relevant associate subject • Engineering degree or similar • Ideally experience in the following sectors; Heavy Industry / Manufacturing / Engineering background • A (full clean) driving license is essential • Excellent health and fitness levels are essential for this role. • A team player, flexible and resourceful individual is required for our teams.
