Presentation given by Ellen Helsper (from the LSE) at the 9th Social Digital Research Symposium (SDRS) held on 22 October at the Centre for Creative Collaboration. Based on work for the European Commission and the from Digital skills to Tangible Outcomes project. The SDRS are held every 6 months and were set up through a collaboration between the London School of Economics and Political Science and the UK Online Centres - now the Tinder Foundation.

Six steps from development to implementation to evaluation

1) Identify the main social challenges and desired outcomes;2) Identify socially excluded target groups;3) Identify how digital exclusion inhibits achievement of the
