Your Office, re@ognizing the dancer of this situation, heetaken the necessery steps to remedy this situation by enteringinte contract with Mr. Arohibeld, of Gouneil Bluffs, Iowa, toeonstruct a deep, soft-water weld om our premises, whieh shouldnot only remedy this situation, but cleo give us a supply ofsoft water, which will be of inestimable benefit to theplumbing of the institution. Through a systematic flushing ofour sewer line, even though the state of our weter-supply @lmostprohibited it, wo were able to prevent the annuel freezing ofthis line end thereby avoided much unfavorable comment from theSsalong this line.

The usnal recreational pursuits heve been continued duringthe year with mach resultant benefit to the pstionts. The mostbeneficial of these was the series of moving picture entertain-monte which heve been heldweetey, Bince October 1, 1925. onecen hordly estimatethe amount benefitofthis feature, but=~it is worth considersbly more, to us, than the 710.00 per weekexpended te obtein it. This should be continued, if possible.

present year, it being thought that we cannot get possession=☁thet farm prior to Mereh 1, 1927, it will be unneeessary to
