JTC will soon be commencing construction works for the development of the Punggol Digital District (PDD) in Punggol Coast. It will be integrated with the surrounding residential areas and include green links to the waterfront for the community to enjoy.

Look Forward to a Green and Well-connected SpacePDD is envisioned to be a vibrant and inclusive district with cutting-edge technology, as well as urban and social innovations that will transform how we work, learn, live and play. Part of the plans for developing community spaces within PDD is to pedestrianise and transform the existing Punggol Road into a Heritage Trail. This 1.3km green link will connect Punggol Waterway Park to PDD and the Punggol Promenade Park Connector. There will also be new retail, dining and leisure options along a Campus Boulevard, Promenade Plaza and Market Village.

Permanent Closure of Sections of Punggol Rd & Ponggol 17th AvenueTo facilitate construction works for PDD, sections of Punggol Road

and Ponggol 17th Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic permanently from 26 August 2018. A section of Ponggol 17th

Avenue will remain open for access to Punggol Way. The northern section of Punggol Road will also remain open

for access to The Punggol Settlement viaPunggol Way.

Traffic Information for MotoristsThere will be directional and information signs to guide you prior to the road closure and during construction works. Please drive carefully and followthe signs.

New Bus Service 84 RouteWith the road closure, bus service 84 will be rerouted. Bus stops 65101 / 65109and 65111 / 65119 along Punggol Road will no longer be operational. Information on the new bus route will also be available at Punggol Bus Interchange and all bus stops with service 84, prior to the road closure.
