Simple To OperateThemachineiscompletewithintelligentmicroprocessorcontrollerandtemperaturesensortoautomaticallycontrolthe operation to its optimum condition, making it very simple to operate. All temperature settings are finished before shipment.TheonlythingforusertodoistostarttheunitbypressingtheON/OFFbuttonafterensuringunitproperfunction,theneveryoperationcanbeautomaticallyperformedbytheunititself.Eitherwireless remotecontrollerorwiredremotecontroller is ready forchoosing tomeetsatisfactory indoorunitcontrol,bothcompatiblewiththeunit.
Friendly InstallationThemachinehasbeendesignedwithfriendlyinstallationinmindsothatnorefrigerationchargingorcopperpipebrazingisrequiredonsite.Threaded fitting is provided for easy water piping connection on site.Waterinletandoutletareprovidedonbothsidesofthemachinesuchthatpipingcanbeconnectedoneithersideofthemachine.RustresistantPP-Rcompositewaterpipewithgoodinsulationpropertyandhighdurabilityisstandardpartsinthemachine.Stainless steel taper threaded fittings target convenient disassembly or assembly.For MAC080C/CR To MAC150C/CR, expansion chamber, water pump and water flow switch are already equipped inthiscompactpackagedunitwithtopairdischarge,inaddition,McQuayprovideaccessoryhydraulickitwithwaterstorage tank, auto water fill valve, auto air vent valve, auto pressure relief valve and strainer integrated in, aiming at ensuring high efficiency and safe operation. For MAC030C/CR To MAC070C/CR, expansion chamber is required in theaccessoryhydraulickitinsteadofbeingincorporatedinunit.
Safety ControlProtectiondevicessuchasdualpressureprotectionandoverloadprotectionetc.isprovidedtoensureunitoperatingwithin safety condition range. The microprocessor-based controller automatically directs system on or off byprocessingthewatertemperaturefeedback.Ifthewatertemperaturefallstounacceptablelowpoint,thecontrollerautomaticallyshutoffthesystemtopreventhydraulicsysteminternalfreezeforunitsafetyoperation.Meanwhile,

themicroprocessor-basedcontrollerautomaticallymonitorseverycomponentoperatingstatusandmalfunction,andfeedbackittoindoorcontrollertogreatlyeasetheworkofstatusmonitorandtroubleshooting.
All WeatherThecabinetismadeofelectrogalvanizedmildsteelsheet,coatedwithbakedpolyesterpowertoensuretheunitsextradurabilityinallclimatesagainstsun,rain,windcorrosion.Spacesaving (small footprint) designof themachineeliminates large installationarea requirement, noneed forequipmentroom.Themachineuseshighqualitypartstoensuredurabilityinvariousclimateconditions.
Simple To MaintainThesimpledesignofthemachineallowsformaximumserviceability.Allcomponentsarewithreachofthemaintenancepersonneluponopenupoftheservicingpanel.Ifemergencyshutoffoccurs,themicroprocessor-basedcontrollerwillindicatesthefaultcausetoquickenandeasetroubleshooting.

InstallationInstallation NoticeThis equipment must be installed by your dealer or authorized McQuay qualified personnel, and the installation must satisfyallthefollowingrequirements.
LocationIn order to achieve maximum capacity, the location selection should fulfill the following requirements: 1) The location must be well ventilated, so that air can be drawn in and discharge out efficiently.
2) Installtheunitinsuchawaythatthehotairdischargecannotbedrawninagainbyitselforotherunits.3) Ensure that there is no obstruction to air flow into or out of the unit. Remove obstacles which blocking intake or
dischargeairifexist.

6) Thelocationmustnotbesusceptibletodustoroiltoavoidcondensercoilbeingchokedbythecontaminant.Asthe general safety precaution, it is advised that no flammable danger gas should be located near to the unit.
7) It is advised to have sufficient clearance around the unit for proper condenser air flow and to facilitate access for maintenance.( see clearance shown in figure below)
Delivery and LiftingWhentransportingtheunit,itisadvisabletouseforkliftorcranetodothiswork.Onlythewoodenskidbaseisallowedtobeservedastheweight-supporter.

Whenhoisting,pleasekeeptheunitstableandwithoutslope,meanwhile,besuretoavoidliftingropescontactwithsideheatexchanger,panelandunit’stoppart.
Afterdecidingthemountinglocation,removetheskidbasebyunfasteningthebolts.
MountingWhenmounting,pleaseusefoundationboltsorexpansionboltstofastentheunitwithfoundationsupportinglegs.When installing indoors, it is advisable to pad the unit bottom against foundation by using vibration absorptionrubber.
Chilled Water PipingChilledwaterpipingmustbeinsulatedandwaterprooftoavoidperformancelossandmoisturecondensingonit.Toguaranteethechilledwaterquality,thewaterstrainershippedwithunitmustbeinstalledonthechilledwaterinpipe.BothchilledwaterinletandoutletportareR1-1/�externaltaperthreadconnections.When performing water pipe connection, use gripping pliers to fix the unit connections to avoid the reserved connectionsonunitbeingdirectlysufferedfromrevolvingtorquewhenfastening.The accessory water pipe components shipped with unit include water pump and water flow switch. Please install themonpipeinaccordancewiththechilledwatersysteminstallationschematicdiagram.Airventvalveshouldbeinstalledathighestpointsonchilledwaterpipingsystem,seedetailedinformationin“chilledwater system installationschematicdiagram”.After completingchilledwaterpiping, carryout leakdetectionand0.4MPa pressure test to ensure having no fault, then fully fill water in system, open air vent valve, purge all the air trappedinthepipingsystem,afterthatshutofftheairventvalve.Waterdrainagevalveshouldbeinstalledatlowestpointsonchilledwaterpipingsystem.In order to achieve the unit long-life operation, it is recommended to give first priority to new type plastic water pipe suchasPP-R,PVC,neverusegalvanizedsteelpipewhenchoosingthematerialofwaterpipe.
Theaccessorystrainershippedwithunitmustbeinstalledonwaterinpipe,otherwisefailureoftheunitmaybecaused.Theunitshouldbeconnectedwiththewatersupplysystemthroughtheautomaticfeederthatistheunitaccessory.Thepressureofthewatersupplysystemmustbemorethan1.5barandlessthan6bar.
