THIS PRODUCT IS NOT A TOY DOUBLE STEPPING SANTA SKU# 46691 I. DESCRIPTION Thank you for purchasing the Double Stepping Santa. This product features a Santa doll with a string of lights over his shoulder climbing up and down his Christmas ladder helping decorate your tree. Plays 30 Christmas carols. The gift box includes a unit and an adapter. This product is not a toy and is not intended for use by children. II. SETTING UP THE UNIT 1. Gently lift the unit from the packaging and remove the unit from the polybag. 2. Attach ladder part A into ladder part B [see fig I] 3. Extend ladder bar [see fig II] 4. Attach ladder stablizer [see fig III] 5. Position ladder next to your Christmas tree or on any flat surface. Place the control box on the ground (sleigh) and the Santa in the middle of the ladder, engaging first one of his hands and then the other with the ladder rails and place one of his feet on a ladder rung [see fig IV] 6. To make sure the string of lights does not obstruct Santa's foot when he climbs up and down the ladder, place the light strings' metal ring on the hook located at the rear of the ladder [see fig V] III. OPERATION 1. Insert the adapter plug into the unit jack at the rear of the control box (sleigh). Plug the adapter into a nearby working outlet. The adapter is intended to be correctly oriented in a vertical or floor mount position. 2. Turn the VOLUME/ON-OFF dial from OFF to ON. Music will start to play, Santa will begin to climb and the lights will go on. 3. Press the RESET button to hear a different song. 4. Turn the VOLUME dial to adjust the volume of the music. NOTE: No music can be heard at the MIN setting. IV. TROUBLESHOOTING Problem Likely Cause Solution No music, motion or lights No power Make sure the adapter is plugged into a working outlet and the adapter jack is securely attached to the back of the control box (sleigh) VOLUME dial OFF Turn VOLUME dial from OFF to ON Music is not playing but train is moving Pause between songs Wait one or two seconds for the next song to start Bulbs will not illuminate Bulbs need to be tightened or replaced a) To avoid electric shock, remove the adapter from the rear of the control box (sleigh) b) Remove plastic bulb cover by twisting it counter-clockwise. c) If bulb is loose, tighten by turning bulb clockwise.
