MC2 – Formation Milestones MC2 Management Consultants was originally formed in 1999 under the

Emprasaria Group banner to provide Executive Search and Selection Services to the Construction Industry in the UK and the Middle East

MC2 Management Consulting opened offices in Hatfield, Durham, Birmingham and Dubai.

On August 1st 2004 – MC2 Management Consulting formed a Contract Recruitment Division called Fast Track to focus on Oil, Gas, Energy and Steel Manufacturing.

In 2005 Fast Track became known as MC2 Technical Recruitment with major accounts developed with many ‘blue chip’ clients.

In 2005 MC2 Technical Recruitment placed a specialist recruitment consultant within the offices of Bureau Veritas in Aberdeen to assist with a new contract award and recruited over 40 engineers for the TOTAL EM&I North Sea Contract.

MC2 – Formation Milestones

MC2 Training Solutions Limited was formed in 2005 to deliver CCNSG Safety Passport Training in Teesside.

In 2006 MC2 Management Consulting and MC2 Technical Recruitment separated – with MC2 Technical Recruitment Ltd forming in Jan 2006. MC2 Training Solutions Limited became a subsidiary of MC2 Technical Recruitment Ltd in 2008.

MC2 Technical Recruitment Limited developed major new accounts with CB&I, Foster Wheeler, Whessoe, Advantica and Bureau Veritas increasing its annual turnover to £10,000,000+ within 2 years.

Alan Gibbin, Alan Gregory and Paul McQuade joined the board of directors and purchased MC2 Technical Recruitment Ltd on 1st July 2009 and commenced re positioning, promoting and developing the company’s services into a Global market place.

MC2 – A Global Player

Despite a difficult period of recession, MC2 directed their marketing to winning export business in North Africa with LCM Oil & Gas, Jabel Oil Services, Azure Group, This extended to the Oman with Ras Al-Hamra and into Holland with Techint, Senna and Gate LNG.

2010 – MC2 Management Systems Consultancy was formed and the MC2 Contracting Services Group moved to MC2 Group House.

2011 – The MC2 Contracting Services group signed a three year contract with PetroSA (The National Oil company of South Africa) in March and secured further work with the Wood Group PSN in Aberdeen.

MC2 – Contractor to National Oil Company

Year agreement to provide sub sea engineers and supporting personnel to PetroSA HQ in Cape Town and in Aberdeen.

Up to 60 engineers plus support staff expected over

next 3 years.

Potential to develop new contracts within the PetroSA organisation – notably on procurement, contract management and inspection.

A second project (FO2) is planned for 2015.
