writing a book or bookazine going through the various

stages from concept, writing and production.

Bonus Day 6 after the turnover when the books have been printed. Students will get

together to see the books and share their books with each other. Students can also have the

option to have more than one copy of the printed book so their family and friends can buy .

A book launch/book signing is the culminating activity.

Students must already have a story in mind and visuals (photos ,drawings, pictures,

graphics) to accompany their story. Students must also bring a laptop on all days of the

workshop.

Book will be a 12-16 page book (excluding cover). Author will choose the paper, size and cover

type (softbound or hardbound) of her book. ( Cost will depend on the specifications of the

writer.)

As young fashion engineers you will get the chance to

create your own fashion line.

Build models using utility dough, dress it up with

accessories and clothes made out of household materials,

as well as natural materials.

Plan for production and quality control , build a runway

celebrate the success of the fashion show with poppers

during the curtain call!

As young engineers you will be involved in all steps of

getting food from a farm to your table.

Form teams and work as a company to help figure out

how to make cookies, how to package them, and how to

deliver these goodies to the bakeries and for take home.

At the end of the week, the best sweets company will be

awarded the Engineering for Kids Baker’s Choice Award,

PARTY CAMP! Our Frozen-inspired challenges will include

designing and decking out a tribal Ice Palace (where you and

your friends can chillax), creating a wild reindeer-ride down a
