Since 2001, Selenice Bitumi Sha extracts, treats,

manufactures and distributes natural asphaltite.

Selenizza SLN® is an additive used among others,

for manufacturing high performance bituminous materials.

This additive is entirely natural and is only subject to hot

purification process aimed to reduce its sterile rate.

Our Laboratory performes systematic checks on the quality for each output. A certificate of analysis is delivered for every production

We offer the possibility to deliver the product to the final customer by truck, container, bulk cargo, etc.

Selenizza SLN 120® is packaged in different forms, such as hexagonal blocs of 12 kg, pellets of 4-12 mm, or powder

0-5mm, treated with an anti-caking agent.

The product is delivered in big bags, orin thermal fusible polyethylene bags.

Tailor-made weighted bags could be

manufactured for packaging, on customer request, depending on the total order

amount

Studies and evaluations of a new product (in pellets), obtained by mixing Selenizza

SLN with polymer SBS bitumen,are underway and will be soon proposed

to our customers

Penetration versus softening point R&B (°C)

The addition of Selenizza SLN deeply modifies the rheology of the original binder.

Depending on the added quantity of Selenizza, and on the base bitumen as well, it is possible to obtain precise penetration and/or R&B values of the resulting binder.The important rate of asphaltenes composing Selenizza, will contribute to harden the base binder, without modifying the elastic properties of the reconstituted binder.

Selenizza is entirely diluted in the base bitumen. The resulting high performance asphalt mixes thus obtained are homogenous and easy to implement.

The increasing of the modulus of rigidity and the resistance to the permanent deformation, by adding Selenizza in the bitumen binder, enhance the rutting resistance and leading to higher longevities of the pavements.
